After watching Season 4, Episode 9 in which Trace is slapped across his face, I am not purchasing any more of this show. This violent behavior may be acceptable to people on this show, but it is not acceptable to me.

Jeff Lewis is a hoot. He is such a different person, almost scary at times, but so much fun to watch. I would never work for him, I can only be a watcher and enjoy what he puts people through. It is fun and kind of scary, at times as you wish you were more like him.

If he doesn't like you, you're out. No BS. If he likes you -- you're a friend for life. Love Jeff's work, his patience (yes, it's there), and the entire process from buying, renting, selling, whatever. Somebody else would collapse from exhaustion. Good that he's got a team to back him up. The results are exciting...but the step to get there are why everybody really watches.

Season 1 was great, Season 2 started to slide, Season 3 was a total disaster. None of the charm, humor,
or wit the show was built on survived Season 3. What you basically had was Jeff losing his mind and
alienating everybody around him, except for Zoila who is either just a rock, or is totally oblivious.
Even Jenni who is just a living doll is walking around with this look of ..... fear on her face all the
time.

Season 4 was a slight improvement as the cast was stable from the first episode, and included the best thing
thats ever happened to this series, and that is Jeff's sister in law Sarah. She's a highly doable professional
ditz that parts her bleach blond hair in the middle and wears painted on blue jeans over her enlarged thighs
and FMPs (heels). But she is very very cute, and because she is family manages to keep Jeff in check just by
her mere presence, somewhat. And BTW Sarah....NOBODY PARTS THEIR HAIR IN THE MIDDLE ANYMORE!!! She did
get the message for the last two episodes but I suspect that is temporary, old habits.... She needs to lose
that damn lipstick too, sheesh!

Don't look for quirky clients or interesting projects this season. Jeff has basically transformed his business
to focus on remodels, no flipping this season at all. He is however commissioned to do a House Beautiful kitchen
in NY but that is also somewhat anticlimactic since he manages the whole thing from LA so don't expect any on-site
dramatics with unknown NYC contractors. Oh yeah, be prepared to be shocked as Jeff just goes into client's homes
and starts throwing away things he doesn't like.... into the neighbor's trash cans!

The first few episodes that I watched of this show, I was so shocked by Jeff Lewis's antics that I sometimes had to pick my jaw up off the floor. He is obsessive compulsive, exacting, abrupt, brutally honest, and absolutely hilarious. Rounding out the show are his wacky assistant, Jenni, and his unflappable housekeeper, Zoila. This show is utterly entertaining!
