This movie must have passed as smutty action when it was originally screened at drive-in theaters, but today it looks tame and would be completely unteachable, were it not for the timeless jokes, quips, and general smart alec interjections of the genius that is Joel Hodgson and his trusty robot sidekicks. What is truly amazing is that MST3K's humor is from a time before the internet, before smart phones, and largely even before what we know as the modern computer, yet somehow the jokes are not dated, and the humor is still there, even after more than 20 years.

Yup, another fine job from the SOL crew dissin a horrible film with Mike "Touch"Conners...the short is great to help one learn what to do on a date. Think they ought to re-show this to kids these days.. ;-)

As the previous reviewer stated, this movie is quite a bit tedious. It was like the African Queen without any tension or love story. We kept waiting for a German warboat to appear at the end, but all that showed up was a rusty old speedboat. The Mayor and Chief of Police of New Orleans and the Governor of Louisiana were thanked at the end, but we are sure that they wish that their names were not attached to the movie. Pretty funny on the riff side, but definitely a movie for more advanced MST3Kers.

There are some episodes of MST3K that I love, but are extremely tedious. This is one of them. If you are wanting to get into Mystery Science Theater 3000, skip this one until you are a little more enlightened. I wouldn't group this with "Manos" or "Yucca Flats", but it is awful close.
