Ghost light was truly one of the smartest episodes of the entire run. It not only gave a wonderful synopsis of how aliens would observe and grade us(feels like being back in school),but also gave a notion that humans aren't always the top of the food chain. I will be honest,I had to watch through the serial twice to really pick up all of the nuances of the story and of course comedic moments(see preacher with a banana). The is truly a multi-layered story that helps a little with the explanation of companion Ace and leaves her knowing that she has been a good guy all along. No matter what she thought. This is definitely not a starter episode of the uninitiated to the series but will give a great amount of joy to long time fans.

The Seventh Doctor is fantastic! I love Doctor Who, new and classic, and the Seventh Doctor is one of my favorite Doctors and Ace one of my favorite companions. If you like Matt Smith, you'll like Sylvester McCoy!

A good episode that sheds light on Ace's history before she became a Companion. It is an odd episode with an odd lineup of characters, but it is worth the time to watch if you are trying to catch up on Classic Who in between episodes of New Who.

It's classic Dr. What more do I really need to say? I am always excited to find additional old episodes that I have not seen before. I came late to the pantheon that is the Doctor, but I am glad I finally made it. I have seen every episode of which I am aware (with the exception of the 8th Doctor, Paul McGann, the movie).

Doctor Who looked like it was going to end that time in the late 1980's, but they still made sure they would make if the best they could. And so they did, and they did pretty good.

Ah, Sylvester McCoy.... The best of all the Doctors. Intelligent, endearing, coldly cynical, Scottish and damned attractive. Watch and decide for yourself.
