    I have a variety of microphone mounts, wind screens, softies and dead cats from Rycote and they are all top notch tools. This suspension shock mount is another winner from Rycote. I thought about buying an off brand but decided to buy Rycote because I know it will hold my equipment safely and their customer service department actually care that you are happy with their well thought out and designed tools.

    If you are on the fence about buying either Rycote or another off brand, you will not regret spending your hard earned money on Rycote devices that are built to stand up to professional, daily use.

    I've used a number of lesser quality brands and have regretted wasting money that could have purchased the right Rycote tools first.

    Trying to fit a shotgun mic into those big, weighty spiderwebs call shock mounts made for most condenser mics is a fiasco. With my Sennheiser 416, this mount was the perfect choice... sleek, minimal footprint. solid flexible grips and effective elimination of low-end rumble that plague very sensitive mic elements. It's really the only mount your shotgun needs.

    I do calibrations. I have tried other shock mounts. This shock mount gives the most relaxed presentation with the blackest cleanest background by far. I was so impressed I bought 2 and intend to buy more to replace my other shock mounts. Mind you it is easy to tell if you listen through a calibrated system.

    Me gustan los productos de esta marca si bien y por ponerle una pega es que las grapas que soportan el micro son muy duras y en caso de usarlo con micrófonos delicados puede rayarlos al meterlos y sacarlos. Debería ser más fácil.

Spinto dalla necessità, ho deciso di procedere all'ordine e fin da subito sono rimasto soddisfatto: la sospensione elimina ogni rumore dovuto allo sfregamento accidentale delle mani sul boom pole, dal movimento del cavo, dal movimento del pole stesso e qualunque vibrazione.
