I do NOT believe in 'ghosts', as in poor Uncle Charles isn't at rest. No, not at all. As a Christian and a student of the Bible I know that the dead are just that, dead, or 'sleeping in death' as Jesus and Paul addressed it. What I DO believe, what I know in my heart is these folks are messing around with demons. These demons want people to believe that there is a 'here-after', be it heaven or hell and hell doesn't even exist. But as long as people believe in an eternal soul or that we just continue 'on' after death the demons have accomplished their mission, they have misled.

More than that, while directly confronting demons these people are putting themselves in danger. They could be followed to their own home, they could fall victim in an assortment of ways to demonic power. These are powerful spirit creatures, they certainly are NOT intimidated by man. A great example of demonic power is in this very segment, the Wolfs Lair, who can doubt with any sincerity that the Third Reich wasn't rife with demons? That there are things going on here is not a surprise to me at all, where better for demons to still lurk? Still, it is interesting to see the ruins of all the bunkers. I had no idea the compound area was so large! I did watch Valkyrie which peaked my interest and explains why I watched this program. It was a good history lesson,

Now, these are simply MY beliefs. I have a right to my beliefs and you have the right to yours and to disagree; it's called mutual respect. I am not going to argue with anyone concerning my beliefs. Please do not make ugly comments, simply agree to disagree and move on. The only reason I commented on this was to perhaps warn another off from following in this path and opening themselves up to demonic attack in one form or another, that's all. Have a great day!

I should freely disclose that I only watched this to get a glimpse of "Hamlet's castle". I'd never really indulged in this form of "entertainment" before. Now I'm at a loss to understand how any of it makes any money if it's all this bad. Could this be what drunk college students are watching these days? You can almost see the actors struggling not to laugh as they utter lines like, "Did you hear something? Was that a shadow?" And why don't any of them ask intelligent questions, like, "Why are we filming these scenes in the dark with a low-res camera? And why are we all whispering?"

If you now find yourself wondering questions like these in stupefied amazement for the very first time, please mark this review "non-helpful".

For the record, the episode included very little of Hamlet's Castle. Not even a glimpse of the statue of Holger Danske in the casements, for example.

This set has 13 episodes that cover Wicklow's Gaol, Gates to hell, skeleton in the closet, a witches castle, spirits in Italy, Port Arthur Penitentiary, and others. Again the quality of the DVD's are excellent. This set also provides 9 1/2 hours of ghostly viewing. It is so nice to watch when I have time to do it, and to know I can pick up where I left off at my convenience. Price is reasonable.

I really liked the GHI series, especially the ones with Brian Harnais in them.
They investigate places that I could only dream of going to.
So I guess my review is biased.
Definitely worth the money.

I love this episode! As always they are very entertaining and this was great viewing. Obviously you should be a believer in life after death to take any of these seriously but that's a given. I would recommend this to anyone who loves "Ghost Hunters" as this is of course their spin off.
