Great once you emulsify it. Picture is after I blended
I've used this a few times over the years. When you first open it, it is seperated with oil on top and thick pulp under. I used to just try to stir and scrape them together each use, which is annoying. This time I really needed it for more if an icing use, needed it smooth, so finally put the effort in and emulsufied the whole jar to have ready going forward. Now I'll do this every time for the first use so that the jar will be fully incorporated at room temp in my pantry. So much easier!First, place the closed jar in a pot of hot water. Opening and gently stirring every 10 to 15 minutes (it's a process)...being careful not to slosh oil out the top. Once it's to the point you can dig around the bottom with a spoon and stir through the whole jar with major junk in the middle, use an immersion blender and emulsify completely. About 2 minutes, scraping sides in as needed. I used my immersion blender in my coffee after to not waste any if the butter that was stuck to it. A nice smooth addition to coffee. At this point, the Manna is smooth and liquid and can be used as an icing or drizzle. But will reseperate if left. So from here, leave a spoon or butter knife in the emulsified butter and every 20 minutes for about an hour stir until hard enough that it is set and won't resettle. Or you can put the jar in cold water for 10 minutes and stir every minute or two to cut down time or if your kitchen is warm. For future uses you can gently removw a few tablespoons at a time to use as a drizzle if need. Or can be easily spread on toast in the butter form.

I originally ordered tropical traditions coconut cream concentrate and their gold label organic extra virgin coconut oil, the concentrated coconut cream was supposed to taste good but I found it to be too oily even after mixing good it still tasted oily, what I did was wait for the oil to separate from the ground up coconut meat and just poured it off into its own container and then I had a thick coconut meat substance for our smoothies that didn't leave an off putting oily aftertaste.

So I decided to try the coconut manna after reading it's description and reviews I wasn't optimistic as the concentrated coconut cream was supposed to taste the way the coconut manna is supposed to taste too, so it got here today and I opened it up and it had a translucent look to it so I took a bit on my fingertip and tasted it and it wasnt too bad, no where as good as the description says it is, but better then the previous stuff we tried, so I made my daily health smoothie and added the coconut manna and the other normal ingredients we use and my smoothie was really really good, better then it was when we used the tropical traditions stuff. Later this morning my wife was ready for her morning smoothie so I started mixing everything into the mixer and got to the coconut manna and noticed it was starting to liquefy so I grabbed a plastic spoon to get a couple spoonfuls into the smoothie and it hit the hard part and broke the spoon, well the top layer was the coconut oil part, there was very little oil compared the the other stuff, and the meat was solid, so solid I had to use a butter knife to chisel out a couple good sized chunks to put in the smoothie, and then the last ingredient is raw organic cacao powder so I started the mixer up while I used the butter knife to break up the rest of the solid part and mix it back to a creamy consistency and now I'm hooked, once you get it mixed up like it should be I love it and so does my wife now, with the coconut manna and the cacao powder mixed in our smoothies it's amazing, we get a nice fruity strawberry taste on the front end and a coconuty chocolatly taste on the back end, our smoothies are the best they have ever been, tropical traditions boasted you could simply eat their coconut cream stuff by the spoonful but I couldn't do it because it's 70% pure coconut oil which doesn't taste very much like coconut, and I'm not into eating oil by the spoonful,l either, this coconut manna stuff once properly mixed has a thick peanut butter like consistency and I can definitely eat it by the spoonful, as a matter of fact I put a bit of the coconut manna and cacao powder in my wife's coffee this evening without her knowing It and she kept saying how good the cup of coffee I made her was, and when i asked her for a drink the cup was dry, she drank every drop because and I know it's because I had mixed a little cacao powder with the manna and put a bit in her coffee with her cream and sugar, she rarely drinks an entire cup of coffee, there's usually about an inch at the bottom of the cup she doesn't finish but with this stuff in her coffee she said it was amazing and I have to agree from what little bit I got to taste before she drank the cup dry..

Anyway if you want a really great coconut product with amazing consistency and coconut flavor then this stuff is what you want, I liked the tropical traditions stuff ok but only after I let the majority of the oil separate from the meat and poured it off it was a lot better, but still not quite as good as coconut manna, my wife had to tell me I couldn't have anymore spoonfuls tonight so I can't wait to put it in my morning smoothie again it's going to be awesome and it doesn't turn into a rock when it hits the cold stuff in the smoothie like the creamed coconut does... I just can't say enough about this product, it's everything I was hoping I would get when I ordered the tropical traditions concentrated coconut cream, but now it'll be a permanent ingredient in our daily morning smoothies and makes me want more of it now

I've ordered these a few times now, they are pricey but worth it imo. A jar last me a while, I usually have a scoop as a sweet treat after a meal. They have always arrived in great condition, fresh product. The top has a layer of solidified coconut oil, the rest is pure coconut manna. I'm happy with this brand and I'll continue to purchase this coconut manna.

Although I do think the organic term is overused. We use this as an alternative to butter to make our own version of bulletproof coffee. Once you froth it into the coffee, add a dash of cinnamon, it gives coffee a creamy, delicious flavor. It is a healthier alternative to using milk and sugar. Quality of the manna is good but I do think it is a bit pricey per container. It is hard to find here locally, so AMZ is a good alternative.

This Coconut Manna is super, insanely, delicious, if you love coconuts! As far as getting out of the jar though... Well, for me that was almost as difficult as cracking a real coconut and digging out the meat! I live in a colder climate and these jars arrived with rock hard manna that had separated. I tried putting the jars in warm water, then tried in hot water, but an hour later I was getting nowhere. So, I opened the lid slightly on one jar, placed it on a heat resistant plate and set it about a foot from my electric heater. I checked on it and rotated it a bit every 15 minutes. Low and behold! I got it melted enough so that I could stir it. It was runny but still sort of difficult to stir, but I got it done. Then I set it on my kitchen counter and it got hard as a rock again, but at least it was well mixed now. To access the delicious coconut goodness, I take a tough, thick spoon and chip out a portion I want to use. I tried some chunks in my coffee and that was good. But, I find that I keep actually popping those yummy little chunks of the Manna right into my mouth instead of using them for cooking or coffee! I just can't help it! This stuff is like candy and I am so addicted to it now. I've already eaten half of one jar and I've only had these jars for 6 days! Since I enjoy this Manna so much straight from the jar, I'm looking for some small size candy molds now. With the next Manna jar that I melt down, I am going to stir it well and then pour it into the little candy molds so that I won't need to keep chipping and digging it out of the jar when it is hard. I do love how the Manna melts in my mouth and to me, it is as indulgent as a fine piece of chocolate! Did I mention that I am addicted? Well, at least it is a healthy addiction.
