I do enjoy the distinctive personalities we are able to follow on this franchise of RH. But I'm really, really disappointed on the focus on conflict between the women that has overtaken the whole series (RHNY and the other franchises). I thought that maybe RHNY would be more immune to this because there are so many different projects and interests going on in each woman's life. It's New York... there's a lot going on. But instead each and every episode now seems to center on one to two scenes of argument/conflict. It's at the point of being cliche. I've read the same observation from other viewers on blogs, etc. We want to know about the actual functioning friendships these women have, their marriages, their interests. It's distressing to see a previously enjoyable show get pulled so far into the conflict plots. It's not entertaining to watch women scream at each other, talk over each other, etc, multiple times every episode. Most women can't relate to this, and find it stressful and boring to watch. I'm predicting a serious downturn for RH over the course of this year as viewers get tired of the same old fighting.

I know why Bethenny left, but it's really too bad. LuAnn always laughs that phony laugh whenever she is putting someone down or talking over them which is all the time. Still, when B was on there was another really strong person that outweighed the countess. The newest season is just plain boring. The first 3 seasons were really good TV. LuAnn likes herself but no one else really does, they just stick because she is rich. She isn't even pretty. This reunion was really something. I think Jill's behavior is why she was fired. And Cindy, she just can't take it, Sonya was right, she came and went. This year (2014) everyone is just boring, even the arguments weren't exciting.

Right out I will say I love this show! That being said, oh, how I would love to have a sit down with these ladies! But since I cannot, I will share what I would tell them in this venue...Jill and Bobby, you have a good thing going in your marriage. Don't let NYC drama come before your relationship. Bobby, you appear to be a very compassionate and giving husband--God bless you. Jill, you are a loving and giving woman but you listen to the wrong people and end up arguing over untruths which equals fruitless discussion. You're smart and funny and you don't need to waste your time on "he said, she said."
Bethany, you may be sharp-tongued but you tell the truth! I would trust you because I know you'd tell me like it is. Don't change. You are fiercely loyal and smart...not to mention, pee-your-pants funny. (your humor shows just how intelligent and observant you are) Women are taken aback by your brandishing truth but that's because they are afraid of the truth.
Sonja, my, my, my. There is an innocence about you that draws people to you--men and women. But you take advantage of that by not taking responsibility for how your behavior might effect others...listen closely...IN THE BIG PICTURE OF LIFE! You are kind and sweet but getting high is your worst enemy. Who will you be in 20 years?
LuAnn, you cannot sing...that producer is lying to you. You act entitled, you hold others accountable but not yourself. I want to say something nice but you're more worried about "appearances" than what is really valuable--your character.
Ramona, "...why do you have to be so mean?" Stop taking pills and drinking and maybe you will find "true faith.

have to say this was a great season. no bethenny! yes! jill, kelly, alex, luanne, and romona were golden together till bravo screwed it up. now look at the show. it's been a boring sinking ship for years. they kept hiring bad additions to the show since they got rid of jill, alex, and kelly. to top it off they should of fired sonja a long time ago. sister is just a sad mess and it's not enjoyable to watch. now they brought back beth and it's just a total failure flop. sigh! guess it helps to be bff with andy...anyway, this final season of the trio was amazing and worth watching for a bit of fluff to lighten the day.

The best thing about this show was the original cast. Why or how Twitter-twatter was given the power to drive casting decisions is beyond me, but the results speak for themselves,as each season gets progressively worse as the entertaining and familiar get shoved aside in favor of what has degenerated into, literally, a freak show that is embarrassing and unwatchable. Trying to redeem this NOT-hot mess by signing Bethenny on for season seven is too little, too late. It's not the real housewives of New York city without Jill,Alex (and Simon), and Kelly. These loud, crude, over-the-hill horny promiscuous exhibitionists are ugly in so many ways. Ewwww.

Transaction was good. No problems at all. I only watched the first 4 seasons. Without Alex and Simon, it just stopped being interesting. They're so entertaining. The new people (and Bethany) are not interesting people at all. So I got those seasons on DVD and said good-bye to the series. PS - with Bethany back, I REALLY don't like it anymore!
