"Suits" will launch its freshman season with stars Gabriel Macht ("Love and Other Drugs"), as one of Manhattan's top corporate lawyers sets out to recruit a new hotshot associate and hires the only guy that impresses him - Patrick J. Adams ("Lost") as Mike Ross, a brilliant but unmotivated college dropout. Though he isn't actually a lawyer, this legal prodigy has the book smarts of a Harvard law grad and the street smarts of a hustler. However, in order to serve justice and save their jobs, both these unconventional thinkers must continue the charade.
When Harvey's promotion requires him to recruit and hire a graduate of Harvard Law, he chooses Mike Ross. The only problem is; Ross doesn't actually have a law degree. Bound by their secret, the two are forced to rely on Ross's book smarts and hustling skills to keep up the charade.
An open and close case becomes anything but when Harvey's accused of an inappropriate dalliance with a married woman. Louis forces Mike to make a difficult decision, one that could net the firm a wealthy client, but cost him Harvey's respect.
Mike's life becomes complicated when an old friend reappears and needs his help. Harvey must decide between closing a multi-million dollar deal and helping his trusted driver defend himself against a law suit.
Mike is tasked with reigning in a modern day Robin Hood whose illicit deeds are putting a client's business at risk. Also, Louis must resolve his differences with Harvey to win a case. Amanda Crew and Bruce Altman guest star.
An undefeated lawyer's shady tactics keep him one step ahead of Harvey, who must decide if he's willing to compromise his ethics to win the case. Meanwhile, Mike must defend Rachel from accusations of treason. Eric Close, Vincent Laresca, Julie Ann Emery and Pooch Hall guest star.
