I did not receive what I ordered - the Velocity Cruz Tablet PS47. What was sent to me was the T107. I thought that I would keep it but within a week the screen was freezing up on me and I had to go thru too much to get it working again so I returned it. I own a Velocity Cruz reader and I love it but this other product was the pitts!!!!

....arrived without adobe flash...This is a sleek nice looking tablet but it very much lacks power as if it needs a QUICK update..Amazon Mp3 Cloud player did not perform well on this tablet..The song would stream load to the last few seconds then stop..Same with Slacker Radio>>Stream loaded up to the last few seconds and music began to cut out....Kindle reads well but all pictures of the books will not load(same with MP3 cloud player's album art)..After recharging twice,,the tablet would not boot..A reset was done to reactivate..This tab takes a while to boot up.This one I had took about 30 to 45 seconds at times....Has serious issues that need to be firmwared out.....I sent mine back and had asked for a replacement but changed my mind...Also,,Don't advertise(on the box)as having a sleeve and upon opening,,there is none.

Well I finally received my first tablet/E-reader. As I turned it on I thought to myself ...this is a really cool new toy. The look, the feel, the performance... what else could you ask for? The sleek design catches your eye right away. One complaint though, the box shows that it contains a carry case inside, but there was none. Another thing is it is difficult to hold in your hand to use, it can slip off because of the smooth finish. That is why you need to have some kind of case for protection. All in all, I would recommend this product.
I have had my Cruz PS47 for a week or so now, and I have had the Cruz T301 for nine months. Both were refurbished units, though the PS47 I thought was new, but was a refurbished one. It was like new, and after I had verified my purchased the folks at VM sent me the missing sleeve that I didn't get. I've never had any trouble when contacting their service department about either tablet and their replies have always came quickly.
I will say Amazon has one very accurate picture of the tablet and that is the one lying on it's back. It does not look like the earlier Cruz tablets at all. It has mostly a black face, with a slate gray sides and back. It is about half the weight 8+ ounces and probably half the thickness of earlier Cruz tablets such as the T301.
I never minded having to use the Amazon App store, and sites like Freeware Lovers or Getjar are also places to get apps. Since the PS47 has the Gingerbread version of Android on it, runs just about everything you toss at it. Forget about GPS since this tablet doesn't have it.
It is a quick, responsive tablet, with 800x600 resolution screen. Books on it look great. The Android flash program, which you'll probably have to download from the Cruz store work fine, as does YouTube, etc. It's half the weight of the T301 and is faster than that tablet.
You might wonder why I haven't given it a 5 stars or at least 4? While it I'm quite pleased with it -- and the price I got it for; some people will not be happy with the run time you will get on the battery. Removing half the weight of T301, means that the battery is half the size? Anyway, wherever the case may be in this area, if you're doing a lot of video watching you're only going to get 3.5 to 4 hours of time on the tablet. Using it as a eBook reader, you could very well get the 6 hour time that is advertised for it. By the way, my PS47 cost less than any book reader and it even cost less than the T301 which I also got at discount. Other problems you will have to normal or bright light on a subject for the camera to work well, and the picture will be a mirror image. (The free Photo Editor on the Amazon app store will easily fix that.) Also the capacity buttons for the 4 major Androids apps such as home, menu, etc. are not lit up or raised. I still have an old Dymo label maker and I just punched out tapes for Roman numerals I through IV, I now have a very visible and also tactile indicator for each of the buttons. Put them below the button markers by the way! There are ways it might be done if you don't have any of those plastic tape label makers around to give you indication where those buttons are.
So, it is a good responsive tablet, I don't know if anyone has made a perfect Android tablet yet, but this one works well, has features like Bluetooth. For the price I got mine and as well as it works I would at least would have given it a 3.5 star rating if Amazon would allow such things.
