Just finished watching all four seasons. The series is riddled with plot holes, continuity errors and cheesy dialog, but it still manages to be a solid show. I have to agree with other reviewers that 80's cartoons were way better in content than most of today's shows. Maybe it's just the nostalgia in me. Animation was great for it's time and every episode had a positive underlying message for kids, most of the time they would bring it home in the last segment. Still, it was ahead of it's time in having a powerful female character who didn't need constant saving and more than once saved the day. Giving equal importance to the annoying but lovable Snarf and making him the hero as well. I'll definitely re-watch some of my favorite episodes at one point or the other, but definitely a good show, especially the first two seasons.

I love this cartoon. It's a cartoon. Not much can be said, although you do wonder about how they managed to build the lair, and their transport machine. But it's a cartoon, and anything is possible with imagination.

Thundercats is awesome, enough said! I like season 1 because Amazon has the x-ray info right on the screen, if desired you can see the voice actors names, trivia, etc. The later seasons do not have it. I wish they all did. It doesn't take away from the qualify viewing of the episodes, but just saying.

The cartoons of the 80s just simply have that vibe which sets them apart from any other cartoons we have today. Thundercats definitely stamped themselves and set the bar for cartoons in its era.

I have really enjoyed watching the original Thunder Cats with my kids. My son loves it. It takes me back to my childhood. It is pretty corny but that's what makes it so appealing to kids.
