I live in Panama and there are very frequent power outages occurring at all hours. When an outage occurs, my computer workstation is plunged in darkness. Sure, Computer monitor provides light, but the keyboard is placed in a dark space. I installed two of these Mr. Beams lights on the underside of the shelf above my computer workstation and I get very good lighting whenever a power outage occurs and I can continue with my work uninterrupted in darkness (or even play games or read an article, waiting for power to come back on) with Mr. Beams lighting my workspace adequately..... I am very happy and satisfied.
