My mom has a red set like these that she's had for decades, but the dog got a hold of the tablespoon and destroyed it. So we were on the lookout for something new! Those popular metal measuring spoons are too heavy and clunky for her. We were pleasantly surprised that Rubbermaid still makes this shape and style of spoons!! I got 2 sets, one for me and one for her. They are good quality and I can tell they will last just as long as the original ones we had!

They have been used with colored powders and have not absorbed any of those colors. They have been hand washed and ran through the dishwasher with no loss of quality. The printing is fairly easy to read as well. It measures approximately 1 inch by one quarter inch on each spoon. They do exactly what they are supposed to do.

I do a lot of baking and have containers of different flours, grains and dry additives. I keep a measuring cup in each product for convenience. I use the one cup measures for flours and the smaller one yet for sugar, down to the smallest ones for dry milk powder, etc.. etc. I like to measure ingredients as I scoop them out and having a cup in each product saves time and the labor. The measures are accurate. The handles are strong and stand up to scooping dry ingredients. Nothing fancy here, just good quality, useful, inexpensive measuring cups.

These plastic, machine washable measuring cups have embossed readings and stack neatly. Have had one set for a year and there was no loss in useability or quality. I like to keep my measuring scoops in the food they "belong to" and I keep 1 of these 1/2 cup measures in both my work and home tins of oatmeal, likewise with the other cups, scattered in different food storage containers.
