I was in the market looking for headphones for a long time and after looking at headset after headset, I had finally settled on the Sennheiser headphones here as my choice. That choice has not been in vain, as I have enjoyed using this headset in almost everything I do on the computer.

The price of these headphones, I believe, are very reasonable for what you are getting. I had picked mine up for $30 with free shipping from a third party store (Beach Camera). It was just the right price point to make me take a step up from the 20 to $25 range headphones and spend the extra money to get this pair.

Now, I will be honest in telling you that I am not an audiophile. I will not be able to tell you when the base is too low, just right, or that the highs are too high, etc. I just don't have the ear for that kind of detail in sound. However, I will tell you that the sound has been perfectly fine for me. I have just begun playing Bioshock Infinite, and hearing all the sights and sounds in that game have made me really appreciate this pair of headphones all the more. For a general yay or nay though, I think these headphones will get you by, but if you are looking for that crisp, clean sound you will probably be looking to the higher tier headphones anyway.

Comfort is a major issue for me because I have had headphones in the past that were too tight on my head and led to a squeezing effect on me. In addition, I wear glasses so headphones would even push the arms of my glasses into the sides of my head, which I'm sure you can imagine, is very painful after some amount of time. Not so with these headphones. Even with my glasses on, I am unable to even feel them after a little while being on the computer. They become periphery, unnoticed up until the point where I have to take them off. And they have the mesh padding on the ears which was a major selling point for me in the headphones I wanted. It is very soft and will fit the contour of your head around the ear (and glasses) very well, I believe.

One other sticking point for some might be the size of the actual cord that leads to the 3.5 mm jack. It is very thin, and it seems that it could break very easily. Of course, I haven't tried out its durability, but I do think you have to maintain an extra bit of mindfulness when dealing with it, so that you don't jeopardize the whole headset.

Overall, I would highly recommend these headphones. Especially at the price I had purchased them, I just don't think you can go wrong.

I bought these mainly for my wife to use while she studies for extended hours. As an owner, myself, of couple high-end headphones, these headphones sound great for the price and are incredibly light.

The first thing I noticed about these is how big and wide the sound stage sounds. In music, this means the stereo sound is excellently represented and for use with video games (mainly COD) it was incredibly easy to both pick-up and identify the direction of footsteps.

The highs are a little bit more reserved than other headphones I own, but at this same time this prevents them from sounding harsh. If you are coming from low to mid level headphones, the bass may also feel a little reserved too. It's not missing, but it's definitely not ear throbbing. In my opinion, this is a plus since the bass neither drown mids/highs nor does it tire your ears.

Compared to other headphones, sound isolation (both in and out) isn't excellent, but it's certainly not bad. When my wife uses them next to me in the library I can barely tell she has music on. When I use them, I generally have the volume up more and she says sound can be heard. If you're planning to listen at higher volumes in a super quiet setting, you may do better with in-ear headphones but anywhere else you should be fine.

Next, comfort. As for comfort, this is one of the most comfortable pairs I've ever owned (Second only to the Sony MDR-XB500 which have pillows for pads). They're light and rest comfortably on top of the head (unlike most headphones, the band on this sits significantly forward which keeps them more stable on the head). The pads are firm, but cushy and the velor covering is slightly breathable - preventing stickness that occurs with leather/plastic pads. The clamping for is also pretty minimal which helps them remain comfortable for several hours.

Finally, the construction. These headphones are mainly built of plastic. For some this is a con, but personally if you take a little care you won't have a problem. The plastic structure feels pretty sturdy and keeps these headphones incredibly light. The headphone cable is a little bit light and may snag easily, but if you're mindful you shouldn't have a problem.

A distanza di qualche tempo dall'acquisto, recensisco queste ottime cuffie.
La spedizione è stata rapida ed efficiente.
L'imballagio era perfetto: non troppo grande, con abbastanza materiale per tenere ben saldo al suo interno il prodotto.
Le cuffie si presentano in una confezione molto semplice e ovviamente sigillata.
Sono dotate di filo, che non si può rimuovere e che è molto lungo, permettendo un buon movimento rispetto al supporto al quale le si collega.
I materiali e la costruzione sono molto buone, anche se danno la sensazione di un plasticone, ma bisogna considerare che sono parte della serie economica della Sennheiser. L'alloggio per l'orecchio non copre completamente l'orecchio, ma vi si appoggia sopra coprendo l'intero padiglione auricolare con un morbido tessuto. Il "ponte" che collega le cuffie è provvisto di cuscinetti. Questi accorgimenti permettono di tenere le cuffie per diverso tempo senza risentirne a livello fisico.
Per quanto riguarda l'aspetto audio, la qualità è molto buona. La mia impressione è che i livelli di volume forse sono leggermente bassi rispetto ad altri prodotti concorrenti, però la qualità è ottima. Molto buona anche la riproduzione dei bassi!
Per il prezzo e la qualità del marchio, considero di aver fatto un buon acquisto che consiglio a chiunque cerchi delle cuffie per ascoltare soprattutto musica o guardare film senza troppe pretese. Il suono è abbastanza pulito. Ovviamente non può competere con cuffie di costruzione e fascia superiore.

Despite the price I think these are a good set of headphones, it took me a bit of time to adjust to the sound, but I put that down to the price and design of these headphones to the ones I use at home. I'm used to open back headphones, these are closed back, and it seems to impact the bass as sound doesn't escape as it would with open back designs.

After a few days of using them I'm very happy with their sound, it's a little bass heavy for me, but stereo separation is impressive, and the high frequencies don't dominate or grate after extended listening, they are also very comfortable to wear.

Build quality is good, I haven't felt the need to be careful when handling or storing them. The cable is thin, but no thinner than the cables you'd find on inner earphones. I'm quite happy to have a 3.5mm jack at the end instead of the larger size, so no need for an adaptor, they plug straight into my mobile phone.

Auriculares muy correctos según lo que esperaba. Los quería para un uso normal (música ocasional, series en el portátil, móvil), sin esperar una calidad técnica excelente, ya que no soy un profesional de esto. El sonido es bueno, volumen alto sin distorsionar y al ser cerrados el sonido no sale fuera, por lo que no molesta a la gente de alrededor, y aísla medianamente bien del sonido exterior, algo que quería para el trabajo.

Le doy 5 estrellas porque no me ha decepcionado en ningún sentido, es verdad que el cable es fino como comentan otros, pero no se va a romper a no ser que los trates fatal, yo soy un poco desastre y aguantan bien.

Recomendado a todo el que quiera unos auriculares competentes, baratos y cómodos.

Diese Kopfhörer ersetzen die defekten 202er meiner Frau, ich durfte sie allerdings auch etwas ausprobieren. Sie ist vollauf mit dem HD 419 zufrieden und würde ihnen 5 Sterne geben.

Mir persönlich gefallen diese Kopfhörer auch sehr gut, den Tragekomfort (gerade für längere Benutzung) trifft man in dieser Preiskategorie selten. Er ist gut anpassbar und umschließt (zumindest bei uns) die Ohren vollumfänglich. Dabei drückt nichts, es schmeichelt sich dank des Gewichts und der angenehmen Polsterung sanft um die Ohren.

Dabei ist der Kopfhörer gut schalldicht - vor allem von außen nach innen (vice versa natürlich auch). Wenn der Partner/die Partnerin Musik hört braucht man sich nicht mehr anschleichen, um den Gegenüber gehörig zu erschrecken ;-)

Ein Verbesserungspotential ist hier jedoch noch gegeben: die Polster lassen sich nicht ohne Weiteres entfernen, um sie zu reinigen. Bleibt der altbekannte Umweg über den Helmreiniger.

Klanglich ist dieser Kopfhörer, für seine Preisklasse, ebenfalls sehr gut. Für meinen Geschmack ist der jedoch ein wenig zu basslastig (was man jedoch gut mit einem EQ ausgleichen kann und nach längerer Nutzung kaum mehr mitbekommt).

Das Kabel ist dünn. Sehr dünn. Ich bin mir noch nicht sicher, ob dies auch bedeutet, daß es schnell(er als üblich) kaputt geht, der Verdacht liegt jedoch nahe. Ich lasse mich überraschen.

Insgesamt ist die Qualität gut, es wirkt solide verarbeitet. Ich kann ihn persönlich durchaus empfehlen.
