Top Chef: Just Desserts

2 Seasons

Season 2
3.9 out of 5 stars (9) IMDb 6.4/10

Batter up! Gail Simmons hosts this delicious creative competition series where semisweet pastry chefs either whip the competition or end up with egg on their face. It's all sugar and spice, but the results aren't always nice and that's the way the cookie crumbles. This season 14 pastry chefs will see if they have what it takes to out bake, out blend and out brulee the competition where the main focus is the Achilles heel of most chefs: desserts.

Wow! The desserts created on this show are amazing. The challenges this season are much more inventive than the first go around and some of them, like the Willy Wonka challenge, will knock your socks off! Less petty bickering, more intricate pastry work make this season a definite higher star than the first.

This was a good show but BRAVO discontinued it. I'm not sure why because Gail is a very prominent public figure. Maybe she didn't want to do it anymore. Sorry Gail... but it would have been nice to see a season 3.....

My favorite of the 2 seasons. I am a huge fan of all the Top Chefs series (regular, master, disserts, duel). Will there be more Top Chef Just Disserts?
