The series follows Abby Kowalski, who was a Chicago Police Officer, who in order to pursue her dream career as a detective takes the only opening available in the Internal Affairs Division. Her decision to join the department's internal affairs division puts her at odds with members of her own family, who themselves are Police Officers. Abby must find a way to do her job as an IAD detective and deal with her family of cops.

I have not been so excited about a cable series in a long time, and on the life time channel no less. This was a breath of fresh air show having to do with cops. Abby's life is quite interesting with IA and has a dad and three brothers who are cops to deal with. The episodes from one right to the last of the season is addictive. Already within the second episode, there is a conflicting case having to deal with IA and one of Abby's brothers. A very good show that is not only for men but women as well that deals with family, relationships, work and so much more. I watch the first 6 episodes in one day and the rest the next. I am eagerly waiting on season two.

Great show lifetime, I was not expecting it. I love lifetime for their movies not series, and this was a good one.

This was a very enjoyable cop show with a bit of a different take. Rachel Carpani goes into Internal Affairs, to much outrage from her numerous male family members, all cops. The dynamic of the overly protective brothers, their feeling of betrayal, and Carpani's character's determination to have her own life made for a great show. I would have gladly watched more seasons if Lifetime and made them.

I wasn't sure about this series, reading the description, but after watching the pilot, I decided to purchase the season and to get future episodes.
I haven't seen this done before (although it is very possible it has and I missed it).
A family of cops. Father, 3 Brothers and Sister, the sister wants to be a dective and excepts a position in IA, causing all kinds if strife in the family.

For me it is a really original series, with original plot and good writing (so far :) )

I cant wait for the rest of the season and the season cliff hanger (I judge the entire season on how original and good the season ending is)

I watched the (regrettably) single season of this series because of the lead actress, Rachael Carpani.
But the writers did a lot of interesting things with the topics of overcoming prejudice, family loyalty/understanding, prioritizing relationships and career, etc.
I didn't understand why the partner was pregnant, except possibly to further the consideration of love and/vs career. Perhaps the subject of the partner's pregnancy would have been further explored in future seasons.

Super upset that it got pulled from the air. It was funny, quirky, heart breaking at time and not your average cop drama. The characters had many layers to their personality, especially the main character Abby Kiwolski. Overall I enjoyed watching it, laughed so many times and would definitely recommend it to my friends.

I love this show, I am so sad that Lifetime decided cancel this wonderful story of a family of policemen and woman. There are so many garbage reality shows that are junk that have survived more than 1 season. Love all the characters, my favorite Treat Williams is so wonderful playing the Dad. He so deserves to have this show.

THIS SHOW NEEDS TO COME BACK ON THE AIR!!!!

We'll never know who Abby picked!!!!!

LOVE IT and MISS IT!!!! PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!!
