This is a very limited app.
While it's good if you're travelling and just want to show people who's in your family tree. It shows the various branches of your family tree, and you can look at the individuals on your tree as well as whatever you've attached for pictures and documents.
However, you can't use this app the way you use the website. There's no way to do searches within Ancestry. There's no way to attach anything you might find online. There's not even any way to add links to review later.
How useful it is really depends on how you intend to use it.
