How it feels on a woman

I am a woman and bought this men's shirt because the women's medium Duofold top was too tight in the arms and was uncomfortable. The men's medium on me was nice and long in the arm, covering all of my wrists and the torso was long enough to cover my waist and then some, making it warmer. There was enough room in the shoulders and chest to make it comfortable. I wear it as a night shirt.

I am wearing my duofold mid weight bottoms right now. I got both top and bottom in blue about 2 weeks ago and when it's cold in New England, I am comforted by an extra layer outside or just wear these as PJ's. I don't like polyester or synthetics. I don't go for those high tech fabrics. I prefer natural fibers in touch with my skin. So, the cotton layer inside of the merino wool outside are great for the winter.
I find that the sewing and seams are well done. The set was a little large on me before laundering and probably shrink 5%. (don't quote me on that %) I am 170 and 5'9" and large fits me perfectly after washing. Easy on and off unlike some brands which bind around the ankles.
So, 4 out of 5......Probably has nothing to do with the product but shipping took weeks to get these. I really can't believe that good quality clothing like this isn't more available. When I grew up, stuff like this was available everywhere. Now, it's like a specialty. Price also seems a little steep but I understand the work involved in processing the wool and cotton. I would recommend this to friends and family. And maybe Amazon could make this a more available option with the usual 2-5 day shipping.

I hate synthetic fabrics, and a bit of nylon is all this has in the outer layer. My mom used to buy these for me when I was a little kid. Now I'm 52 and still wearing them every winter. Right out of the package they're as soft as your favorite old tee shirt, just a lot warmer! If you're going out in the cold and layering your clothes, these make the perfect base. If it gets too warm just drop the outer layer and you'll be good to go. Some reviews complain about shrinkage. Well what would you expect from a product that's almost entirely cotton and wool? I wash mine in cold water and then hang to dry. They last for years and don't shrink. If you have to put them in the dryer then I guess you should buy a size larger. They're also very adaptable to your body type. I've got about 10 of these shirts. Recently I've gained some weight and probably need to start buying a larger size, but after 5 or 10 minutes of wearing them, they stretch out nice and comfortable.

First this has two layers, and the inner layer is not sof and smooth like all the other Dufold products i have purchased. Second the medium is way too tight and all the other medium duofolds are fine this one is too small.
I thought i could get used to the rough feel but wish i had returned it for this reason mainly and also that the sizing is not accurate.
Poor quality, poor feel, poor sizing. You should stop selling this product
