Installation One of the best things about the Deadbolt Banana Plugs is that installation is quick, secure, and requires no tools. Just follow these steps. Feed the cable through the bottom piece. Push the cable back over the teeth on the bottom piece. Screw the top piece to the bottom one. You're finished. All in all you should only need 10-20 seconds for this entire operation. The Sewell banana plugs work as described, though the Created section which sinks into the speaker seem very delicate. After inserting a couple of times, the banana plugs seem to fit looser and don't seem to have the same strong contact with the speakers as when they were new. Sound doesn't seem to be compromised though, just my observation.

I really love the way these install. A very strong connection with amazing wire contact when tightened. Not flimsy at all, feels like a very solid well made part.
Both the gold plating and the black finish on these a very high quality and don't look or feel like there is the slightest chance of peeling off.
Very positive lock when inserted into connections.
I went ahead and changed out every connection to these and I'm going to keep a bunch of these around just for spares.
