This little popsicle maker does exactly what it claims to do and turned out to be a whole lot of fun for the whole family. We put it in the freezer over night and the next afternoon created a variety of flavors, yielding near instant gratification - no small thing with a toddler standing by eager for a popsicle:) She enjoyed participating in the process, which makes me love this product. We juiced and pureed fruit together, loaded the little freezer together, and after 6 or 7 minutes she was excited to pull the pop out. Good clean fun. What's fun too is you can create multiple flavors within one popsicle. Zoku includes some very simple directions for how to do this, and my 2 and a half year old loved it. The winning flavor of the day was fresh watermelon juice with a coconut milk center. Yum! We managed to create 4 popsicles before the little freezing container lost it's maximum freezing power. We want to buy a second one to create even more popsicles on demand.
Years ago I got one of these as a gift, and even though I lived in Phoenix where it's summer half the year, it seemed gratuitous. Well I'm happy that I was proved wrong! It's really fun to use and great for satisfying cravings without a long wait. The single pop mker is great for just me because I can make one and enjoy it while the second popsicle freezes.
After I lost my original Zoku pop maker in a move, I replaced it and am so glad that I did. This summer it's been one of the easiest ways to play with new fruits, like a lychee + dragonfruit combo, and make nutritious desserts. My favorites lately are a chocolate fudge pop (avocado + cocoa powder + honey + almond butter) and green tea yogurt (matcha + Greek yogurt + coconut milk + honey). The matcha is really good with blueberries, chocolate shavings, or both!
It's really easy to mix up some flavors on the fly and see what happens. There are also endless popsicle recipes online for whenever you need the creative inspiration, or aren't sure how to combine your favorite flavors.
I love this because when you want a homemade popsicle, you can have it in less than 10 minutes! With regular molds, it would take hours and hours! Its a great dessert alternative for the health concious, which is my main focus on purchasing this! I would use a spoon of organic or all natural peanut butter, some almond milk, pack of stevia, and splash a vanilla, WOW!! Or some homemade greek yogurt, peppermint extract, stevia, and organic chocolate chips! Or another great one is coconut milk, coconut flakes, stevia, and vanilla extract. The possibilities are endless and I love to experiment! It works great, I have not had any troulble getting my popsicles out! I recomended it to some family members, can't wait for them to try it!
Updated 3/22/2017 I can honestly say I haven't used this product in over a year. It started to release this blue liquid. I'm mot trying to injest toxic chemicals. Steer clear!!!

My son got this as a christmas gift. He was so excited and asked me about it at least 10 times during the first 24 hours it has to freeze before you can use it. We made our 1st pop from kool aide. It took more like 15 minutes to freeze rather then 7-9, but whatever. Then I screwed in the special release tool into the handle unitl it was tight (just as the directions said) but the pop would not come out of the mold. I kept screwing, expecting the pop to release but instead I ended stripping the threads in the handle. The pop never came out and now the special tool and one of the handles are forever locked together. My son was so sad when I had to melt his pop out of the mold with hot water just to get the handle out. I ended up making my own jack system for the other 2 handles with a M6 bolt, a large washer, and a few peices of wood. What a pain! The kids soon forgot about it and the whole thing quietly went into the trash. The only reason for 2 stars is that it looks very pretty and the mold can take a good smashing with a hammer when trying to shock the pop out.
This works wonders! My teething toddler can't get enough popsicles, and I struggled to make enough for him at one time. When teething, he blows through a six pack of traditional homemade slow-freeze pops. When that happens, I whip out this puppy and it saves the day. It takes 3-5 mins to make the first pop, 5-7 to make the second, and 6-9 to make the third. After that, I need to refreeze it for 6+ hours to make timely quick pops again. Points for putting another Popsicle in the mold at that time! That means you get 4 pops each use. My only caveat to this product, is that you need a freezer with an internal temperature well below 32* F (I believe the directions say the optimal temperature to keep the QPM running is 0*F). So, it might not be for everyone. But for us, it works great, and helps my toddler beat the teething blues! I recommend it to anyone looking to make 1-4 popsicles fast.
I like Popsicles every now and then. I have food allergies and a very small freezer. This thing takes up less space than a box of fruit bars or whatever else I could make with this thing. On hot days, like today when it is 91 outside of my non-air-conditioned house, I pull this thing out of the freezer, dump in some fruit juice, put in a stick and then pop the entire thing back into the freezer. (I tend to forget things so I use the freezer as a safety step against my forgetting about it entirely adn finding it fully thawed out the next day...) An hour or so later when I recall that I started making a fruit bar I go retrieve it and have a nice treat. Well worth it.
This pop maker is awesome! After leaving it in the freezer 24 hours, it is ready to go! There are tons of fun recipes on pinterest. Greek yogurt works well when mixed with juice or milk. Have fun experimenting with this. My kids love it!
I loved this item at first. I used it 3 times and made awesome pops. 2 1/2 months later I noticed it was leaking blue stuff all over my freezer. I checked the warranty and its only good for 60days! I was not able to get a replacement. This is going in the trash and I will never buy one again.
I froze the unit for only 12 hours and poured in room temperature juice and my granddaughter had a frozen pop in 5 minutes. Quick and somewhat healthy sweet treat. I did rinse out unit, dry it upside down, and wait for it to completely thaw (to insure no condensed water inside pop chamber) prior to re-freezing. That took quite some time.
The manufacturer now needs to make a BIG container for wine slushies!!! By big I mean 2 bottle capacity, lol.
FYI, wine slushies, 2 bottles CHEAP wine, one can frozen juice concentrate (I like orange passion), 1/2 cup granulated sugar. Mix together the sugar and concentrate, add the wine, stir until dissolved, freeze for 24 hours. The alcohol doesn't completely freeze, but, reaches a slushie consistency. Dish out and re-freeze.
Très pratique, facile à utiliser, ne prend guère de place. Les glaces ( prévu pour 3 utilisations à chaque fois) ressortent parfaites en quelques minutes.
