This is a show that I continue to enjoy more and more each season. All of the characters continue to evolve, especially the supporting ones. In this season, Jackie and Kevin cope with Jackie's addiction, which also causes a major rift between Jackie and O'Hara. Grace continues to suffer, which adds to the tension in the Peyton household. Eddie continues to try Jackie's patience, and really alienates her when he starts flirting with Kevin's sister. Perhaps the most fin character to watch in Season Three is Gloria Acolitis, who embarks on a fight against childhood obesity in hopes of impressing First Lady Michelle Obama, and also raises hell when the statues from the All Saints Chapel are removed. She's hilarious!

The only reasons I gave the season four stars instead of five are that the "cliffhanger" is something I totally saw coming and was extremely predictable. Also, I was a bit disappointed with where the show took Coop's character this season. He was made out to be much more vulnerable than in seasons past, but it was just boring to watch. Hopefully he will be back to his ridiculous self in Season Four.

I love my Nurse Jackie fix and Season 3 DID NOT DISAPPOINT! You see many of the characters evolve and this season begins to show Jackie's world crumbling all around her. Her house of sand begins to sink but not without a handful of fun, humor, tears and a few jolts along the way.

Nurse Jackie Season 3 builds beautifully and leaves her die-hard fans aching for a fix in Season 4. Edie Falco is marvelous and does a great job with the support of her cast. One of my favorite shows. Like those little pills Jackie is so very fond of, this show is addictive from the start!

Nurse Jackie is an enjoyable series with a well-developed plot line and characterizations. Would have preferred this series to have 60 minute episodes instead of only 30 minutes as sometimes the storyline does not carry-through from the end of one episode to the beginning of the next. It sometimes tests credibility as I don't believe one nurse would wield that much power and influence in a real-life hospital.

I'd always overlooked "Nurse Jackie" as I am a big fan of spy shows, thrillers, and scary stories. For some reason I decided to see what it was like, and have been completely hooked ever since. Seeing that Steve Buscemi is one of the directors intrigued me.
There hasn't been a false line in four seasons! Nothing gets old or stale.
The characters are superbly played. The drama is a half hour of fast action with fast glimpses of the All Saint's Crew, Jackie's family, and others, through which their personality is revealed in detail often missing in far longer shows. You really get to know these people and can't wait to find out what happens next. The rotation of producers and directors is a good thing, probably a reason the show is so alive, never stale or trite.
Not for kids, really. The language is the kind you hope they never pick up, but is the way most of us seem to talk these days. There are fairly vivid sex scenes also. All the X-rated material is appropriate when used and an integral part of the plot, never something pasted on to keep the audience watching. I was surprised that my daughter in her late twenties was somewhat shocked by the show, as she has encountered all sorts of people in school and work.
Highly recommended but not for authoritarian personalities...

What a great show! Great characters, great acting, twists and turns, subplots, just lots of fun, at least for me. I like the way each character moves forward in time, either getting better, worse, or just moving on. I'm sure that's true in many TV shows, but I haven't watched much TV in many years, so I'm not used to the long story with progression.

These episodes are so creative, I just love this show. Every actor is perfect for their part and the writing is great. I look forward to my end of the day viewing of at least one episode on my Kindle. Can't wait for season 4!!

I absolutely adore Edie Falco in this series. Her character is what you call a 'functioning' drug addict where she can still do the majority of everything without screwing up (too bad - if you don't count her personal life). Some partial spoilers - nothing huge. This season she actually somewhat tried to cut back on the drugs and more or less straighten up to a certain degree but in true Jackie fashion - not happening. Her personal life is all over the board and when she has a chance to come clean at the end - she of course doesn't! LOL If you like this series I think you'll enjoy this new installment!!

Edie Falco is always a joy. We have tried to watch her work ever since the Sopranos and she never disappoints. My wife has stage IV adeno carcenoma of the Pancreas and Edie is someone she really looks forward to. Thank You my dear from my wife Sharon. Oh and of course from me as well.
