Regular polish...Not my usual!

I work in the medical field and not only do I like my nails to always look nice, I almost always do some type of nail art like stamping for seasons, or French tip witch a coordinating color. I have been doing gel polish (I do it myself) forever. Despite that....It's a process. One I have mastered to help save time. I heard of this product and saw some specific polish that was amazing so I had to try. Even with my hands and cuticles themselves literally cracked, the polish has yet to chip or peel!
After I soaked off all my previous gel polish and lightly buffed my nails, I applied the CND to all nails on one hand. I quickly then applied a coat of brilliant polish. Repeated process on other hand..Then went back and did a second coat of polish and lastly, topped it off with a coat of the Seche Vite.
I will admit that I like that the gel polish gives my nails more strength since it thickens the nails....But if you need a break from gels or had acrylics taken off and need to keep polish on for a bit, this stuff works great! I think the key is to work quickly after applying so that product is still sticky on your nails. Good luck girls!

Finally Believe in Base Coats

I've never believed in using base coats as much as I wanted to because no matter which base coat I used, my nail polish wouldn't last and I just wouldn't see the difference...until I started using CND Stickey. Wow. This stuff is amazing! I've used this product once and I'm already hooked. It's already been 4 days since I polished my nails and they look just as good as they did on the first day and I'm really hard on my nails.

It's been over a year since I wrote my original review and I'm still using CND Stickey. I won't paint my nails without this base coat. Before I started using CND Stickey, my nails would chip/crack and get really brittle with each mani. Ever since I started using it, there hasn't been any or very minimal damage to my nails and painting my nails is actually easier too. The color coat "sticks" a lot better when I use CND Stickey vs. when I don't.

My manicures have lasted so much longer with this base coat. I can get a good week out of a mani with a slight touch up to the tips mid-week. I typically use OPI and Essie color with Out The Door or Seche Vite topcoats.

I use nothing else. After over a year of owning my bottle I left the lid off on the last little bit and it got goopy. Don't even try to use it if it does this haha. So I had to order more and you should have seen my happy dance when it arrived.
What it does!!
- makes polish stick in place and not slide into lines or puddles
- gives a smoother finish
- makes taking polish off easier

Seriously I started using this over a year ago and have thrown anything else out. I even bring this and Svitche top coat to the nail salon with me to ensure I have the best polish job haha. I forgot last time and there stuff worked on my toes but I'd never dream of forgetting it for my fingers!
I do paint my nails a LOT usually a few times a week and one bottle lasts more than a year. I do go through spurts of letting my nails "breath" so I can't say I've used it 3 times a week for 18 months but I used it a LOT.

This does not seem 'sticky', yet it is a really good base coat, possibly the best one I have used. Some base coats are good for a few days but then they peel off. This one doesn't. If you use 2 coats, you will want want to polish over it as the green color shows. I would definitely consider buying this again. I think I paid $8.50 for it.

Best Base Coat

This stuff is absolutely amazing! With regular basecoats, my polish typically chips on the third day. With this on (and Seche Vite topcoat), I can get an extra 2 days of wear, which is incredible for me. I crochet, knit, type a lot, and use a lot of oils on my skin, and all of those can really lower the life of your polish. This stuff grips very well. I have tried it with indie polishes (5-free) and cheap storebought and it seems to be compatible with any standard polish from creme to big, chunky glitter. I also never, ever use gels. This basecoat is very much worth a try.

This base coat works very well! It does dye your nails a little, but not a big deal to me! To make sure it stays, make sure you buff your nail and make sure its oil free. My nail polish was perfect for 5 days, and I washed dishes without gloves at least twice a day!

Best Base Coat I've Ever Used

This has been the best base coat I've ever used. I usually paint my own nails a couple of times a week as polish doesn't seen to stay on, regardless of the brand. However since I had a nail technician use CND Stickey during a manicure, instead of last 3 days, my manicure lasted a full week. Since I've been using this, I've only had to paint my nails once a week instead of every couple of days. I will always use CND Stickey Base Coat; I'm glad I purchased the large bottle.

A little sticky.

I didn’t notice a better manicure using this. It is sticky but I don’t think it did that much good. It is blue/green so your nails have a darker appearance.
