5.0 out of 5 stars cake looks like a donut
Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on June 11, 2015
these pans performed very well with regular cake mix. I used the baking time for 8-inch rounds. I sprayed the pan with a "baking" type spray that includes flour. I followed the instructions on the Entenmann's box: cool cake in pans on wire racks for 15 min, then invert.. The cakes came right out of the pans. When I baked a white cake, the cake did split, but frosting mended that easily. the only challenge is that the top of the cake (top when it's in the pan) isn't perfectly flat. On the first cake (chocolate), I just used frosting to fill in; however, the cake was taller in proportion to its diameter than a real donut would be. On the second cake (white), my husband carefully removed a thin layer with a serrated knife, which served both to level it and to make the proportions more authentic.

5.0 out of 5 stars Was super easy to get out of the pans
Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on June 18, 2018
Worked perfectly. Was super easy to get out of the pans. I used a box of store bought strawberry cake mix. It took about 1 1/2 boxes of prepared batter to fill both pans. I baked what was left in a regular round cake pan to freeze and use for cake pops at a later date. After baking and cooling in the pan. I trimmed the tops while still in the pans. so they would be flush with the pan. I then scooped out a "ditch" in each cake to add filling so it wouldn't be shown when they were put together. It was a hit. My husband loved his Jumbo donut cake.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worked great!!!

Used it for my daughters donut themed bday party. The pan was so easy to use and the cakes popped out no problem. Each side of the pan made a whole donut. I did not need to put the 2 sides together. As it baked it rounded itself out to make it's own small cake. Turned out absolutely perfect and looked amazing when completed!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Easiest donut cake ever!!!!!!
Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on June 6, 2020
Easy! Used regular box cake mix and frosting. Split batter into each half and once cooled, sliced bottom of each cake to make even then stacked halves together. Frosting tip: place frosting in glass bowl and microwave for 10 seconds then drizzle on top of donut cake. I used store bought frosting with sprinkles (funfetti).

5.0 out of 5 stars Donut cakes ♥️
Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on May 7, 2020
This pan is awesome for making donut 🍩 cakes! I’ve made two now and everyone has loved them! Pay attention to cooking time though, the first one I left it in the oven for the whole cook time and it was a bit dry. For the second one I took it out early to check on it and it was perfect!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best donut cake pan

These pans were great to make a donut cake for my friends birthday. Easy to clean and the cake came out great without any hiccups. Also deep enough to where I could make a filling.
