This 5-Disc Set is even better than the first one. I've been waiting forever to get it. This time it has 17 Episodes with a Reunion Part 1 & 2. It looks like they worked hard on the discs. The discs are glossy and has a beautiful Mob Wife on each. It has deleted scenes on every disc. This season was much longer and more interesting. It was a lot better. The episodes are:

Important to note that I did not buy this but simply watched it out of curiosity on streaming as part of being an Amazon prime member. People, fasten your seatbelt because this is not going to be the Sopranos. The series is mildly amusing playing in the background while you're doing other things. The amusing part ends by about the 2nd episode. The one-dimensionality and the constant stream of profanity that is constantly beeped out makes it one of the most low-class and annoying things you can possibly watch on television.
Covering up criminality by coyly calling it a lifestyle is about the most amusing thing I can say about the series. Badly dressed educated and made up, surgically altered crazed screaming banshees represent the nadir off bad taste.
It's shocking to think that Weinstein who sponsors and makes so many great movies would actually allow their name to appear on such a piece of trash. But I guess it's about making money, not about edification, culture or class. Or in this case even entertainment.

I realized after watching this second season, most all the filming is done in restaurants and kitchens. It's about filming the nasty, drama between the ladies, and honestly I'm pretty sure they have good, decent things going on too. Wish the producers would film from a less dramafied, and more realistic perspective. Of course, that wouldn't bring in the big bucks..would it.

I guess that's why this series is called Mob Wives because short of being crude, obnoxious these woman fall in the line with their husbands who are incarcerated. They are verbally abusive to each other. It's almost hard to believe it's real. The series is just about wives who are married to mobsters and their physical and abusive relationships they have with each other. Really sucks.

Very interesting to someone like me whose lifestyle is entirely different in all respects. Always good to know "how the other half lives" and, even if their way of living is one that would never be my choice or the choice of anyone I have ever personally known, it is interesting, from a human standpoint, to gain knowledge and insight into the lives of others---no matter how different from our own.

My daughter likes to watch this show with me. What I don't understand about these women is that it seems like they are always talking about being done with the drama, but they act like a bunch of high school girls with the constant talking about each other behind each other's backs. They also have a problem butting into everyone's business. I have to say that from what I have seen thus far Carla does try to say away from all the crap. We'll see if it continues.
