At first I thought it was a little pricey. But then I realized I purchase at least two concert dvds a month, because I really enjoy watching live bands on my Saturday nights. At 15.00 dollars for each DVD well you do the math. To get the Quello concert app was a good idea. There's tons of live concerts from all shonrahs. Now I watch concerts of bands that I wouldn't normally buy but on this app I click on them just to see how they sound live. The concerts are not in 4k but they are in HD except for the really old videos that they dug up some where, their kind of grainy. The sound is not in 5.1 sourrond but it is in 2.0 stereo, so if you have a good amp receiver system with some good speakers you can really rock out. Its great for parties cause i use the concerts for my music and you can look at the screen to see them perform if you want. They have good documentaries all related to music.. if your a music buff like I am, try the free trial and check it out.

Waste of Money. Waste of Time. Absolutely NOT HD.

Run away. Run far, far away. There's so much wrong with this service that I don't even know where to start. Day one, I figured I'd sign up for the trial to see what it was like. All of the "HD" titles were grainy and very much not HD. It constantly buffered the video (definitely an issue on Qello's end since I have a gigabit internet connection hard wired into my FireTV). Day two it claims I have a network issue and the app won't load anything buy my account information screen. Amazingly everything else on my FireTV works fine, and there is no network issue.

I can honestly say from my first 48 hours with the app, this is not at all worth what they're charging. It's unreliable. It's absolutely not HD. As another reviewer shared, much of what's on Qello is actually available on YouTube. Download the YouTube app to your FireTV and just search. It's free and it works so much better with far better quality. I'm not sure who Qello has working on their app, but the app itself is absolute garbage.

I am not sure why the reviews are so mixed. I was paying $5.00 a month to get HDNET back in the day. Main reason, I enjoyed the HD concerts and music aspect of the channel. It was also a great way to show off my big screen. HDNET would play a lot of the same stuff over and over and eventually changed to AXS. I no longer subscribe. That money now goes to Qello.

On wanting more concerts, there are so many concerts I have yet to watch that I do not understand that complaint. Do I want more? Yes and they keep releasing more. The Rock Hall of Fame and more Doors just came out. The variety is certainly here.

On the app crashing, I use it through my Sharp and on Amazon Fire. Lately the Amazon fire has been my go to streaming device. It would be great to be able to use the Amazon Fire voice search on my qello app. There is no real buffering and my wifi is in the other room. I have yet to use my android but I will be soon.

Short Version: Fast stream, good quality, lots of great concerts, continues to improve the app and add to the content library.

I have a bunch of favorites on the layout on my computer in the Stingray Qello page. But I cannot find these favorites or as it says "MY Q" So, Okay I looked for the new Holiday collection now I cannot find this either. How can you find anything in Qello Stingray on fire stick, Fire T.V or Fire Cube. I know it works fine on the Roku, but then I do not have one of those anymore. Why is the layout so different on Fire Devices? but mostly help PLEASE!!!????

Still is great when I want it so far. It doesn't look hard to cancel, but I haven't tried yet.Some concerts I really liked and worth subscription cost even if I don't use it again for a few month given what I have gotten so far. The draw back is that I have had to log off on one TV in my room before I log in someplace else in my house. And since I was thinking it was just 99 cents a month, I will drop it when I am not watching it. I would give it 5 stars, but I haven't used it enough to be sure, and I haven't figured out if there are 2 levels or not. I might be obtuse, but the billing and use policies are not as clear as they could be. That seems kinda standard with some of my other Fire TV Apps; free to try (or cheap in this instance), confusing with the bill (not sure if there is a 99 cent plan or not, think not), I had trouble when logged in on 2 TVs with this App (coulda been me, but worked fine when I closed out one), And I have to say I really liked what I have watched and listened to.

3 ways to sign up for Qello.

The 3 different ways to sign up for Qello with Amazon. You want to sign up 1. direct from the app, not with 2. amazon signin or 3. as an Amazon channel.

1. Get the app, create a new login, pay direct.

2. If you sign up through Amazon Videos so you can pay through amazon, you will not be able to login on apple or most other devices. The "login from Amazon" button is simply not an optioon on other devices.

3. If you set it up as an Amazon Channel, you lose all the app features, like song list and favorites.

I like the app overall, as I enjoy watching live music videos. There isn't as much as I had hoped, and no Neil except a couple songs from Bobfest and other "various musicians " events. Hopefully they will add many more concerts and even single music videos. If not, a great way to see which videos are worth getting on disc. And, some of the videos are out of print and quite expensive on secondary market.

With Covid on the high in 2020/21, that prevented us from attending future concerts, it was great to have Qello providing this kind of entertainment at home. A tweek from my soundbar in terms of treble/bass, the volume cranked-up and lights off, I was automatically transported to different eras with live concerts from 70s, 80s, 90s, right up to the 21st century. It may not have the same atmosphere of actually being there, but the performances and showmanship made up for it.

Being frustrated that Amazon only had very few concerts on offer, I opted to go with Qello to help satisfy my hunger for live music performances. The monthly subscription pricing had always put me off though, until they had a special half price annual membership of around £50, that I couldn't resist.

Then I soon discovered that I could only watch these concerts on my mobile device and not on my tv, that quite often I had to cast it across to my tv, even though they still advertised their services on Amazon Prime.

As I assumed that my smart tv had not recognised my membership, I click on the app on Amazon Prime and I was automatically given access...however, I soon discovered that payments of the half price of £4.99 were being taken as well as my annual membership fee. This was rectified when I spoke to Qello about this.

However, whilst looking into my Amazon Prime subscription to see if I am better off with an annual subscription than a monthly one (as you maybe aware of Amazon subscription goes up in March), soon enough I came across Qello subscription and I was expected to pay the full amount of £9.99 per month, starting from March this year for which I have cancelled.

Please be aware of these practices, which seem to be common ground with alot of these third party subscription services on Amazon Prime.
