This show is a funny and well thought out. I love the banter between all the stars. A story line that could actually happen. The show lets people see the love between the couple even after a major turn in thier lives.

I love Fran Drescher. I'm pretty sure I memorized most episodes of The Nanny, I've read one of her books, and I even liked The Beautician and the Beast. This show is nothing like any of those. The concepts are great. It even features some of the other cast members of The Nanny. So why only three stars? Because it isn't particularly funny, and the dialogue is a bit stretched. It doesn't feature the amazing cameos on The Nanny did, either - or Maxwell Sheffield. I bought the season, and I've watched every episode. I want to love it more than three stars, but I just can't.

Bought the 1st season on DVD.. 2nd season is only available on pay TV.. Bought it from Amazon
Peter Marc Jacobson and Fran Drescher did an excellent job creating this show...
I laughed myself to death over the last couple of days..

Naturally the show is about Peter coming out to Fran. On they can't afford to live apart, so they live together, in the same house..
Jabs thrown all the time of Peter being gay; but, in a fun - non hurtful fashion... I haven't laughed so much in a long time.. Fran does an excellent job playing herself.. Peter makes a Cameo appearance, on at least one of the episodes
John Michael Higgins plays Peter.. He does an excellent john with this part... It's awesome !

Not all like Fran Drescher and even she admits, at in the show, her voice can grate, but this show is funny and charming and takes her real life story and makes fun of it and her in a way most would not be willing to do.

The opening theme song is brilliant, and somehow, encapsulates a tricky premise into a quick, snappy and catchy tune. The show is hilarious and always makes us laugh. And it's actually based on Fran's life; her hubby of many years realizes he's gay, they divorce, but still live in the same house. Sounds more like a drama, but it's 100% comedy and fun. Fantastic. Normally plays right after Hot in Cleveland, or just watch it here on VOD. Great characters, co-stars and A list cameos.

I love Fran, she is so funny, I totally get her story about how her youth was stolen. A lot of us women can identify with that. She brings a delightful since of humor to it.
