The Original Super Tofu Press by TofuPresser - The Easiest Way to Remove Water From Your Tofu
We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock.
- Original Made in the USA - Our product is made in the USA. We have sold this model on Amazon since 2011. You are looking at the ORIGINAL Tofu Press with solid plastic places, and not a copy made in China that will crack under pressure and let water leak inside its hollow plastic places.
- Easy to Use and Clean - This Tofu Food Press is designed to make your life easier. The top pair of springs applies an even pressure of up to 50 pounds per square inch, depending on the spring tension that you have adjusted by turning the knobs. By applying even pressure, the Tofu's square shape can be retained and the block will not fall apart.
- No More Paper Towels and Heavy Objects - Gone are the times of pressing Tofu blocks by using paper towels and weights. The Super Tofu Presser makes the process easier, less messy and more effective. Simply place it in the sink or in a container and let the press do the work for you.
- Better Flavor and Texture in Only 15 Minutes - By removing the water from the Tofu block, you can replace it with flavor by using dressings or marinades. Dry Tofu is also better (and safer) for frying and you can achieve the crunchy crust that we all love!
- Guaranteed Quality - Our press is manufactured in Arizona, USA and made with custom molded BPA free HDPE plastic. All nuts, bolts, washers and springs are made from food grade stainless steel. We are confident in the quality of our product - and that is why we can offer an unconditional 30-Day money back guarantee. If you are not happy with the product, simply reach out to us and we will offer you a full refund.

Product Description
- Insert the block of tofu between the two plates
- Push down the top plate and begin screwing down the plastic knobs to apply pressure. The pressure depends on the type of tofu and your time requirement. Do NOT apply too much pressure! The tofu should remain in a semi-block shape while you are pressing, and never be pressed beyond the edge of the plastic plates. If the tofu is squeezing out the sides of the press, you are pressing too quickly.
- Put the Tofu Press on a plate, in a bowl, or simply in the sink and let it drain.
- If necessary, readjust the knobs to keep pressure on the springs and the plate.
- After 15-20 minutes unscrew the plastic knobs and remove the tofu from the press.
- Enjoy! You are welcome!
Which is the correct press for you?
The Simple Press is our economic version.
- Removing water from a Tofu block should be as easy and uncomplicated as possible. And the Simple Tofu Press is just that: Simple!
The Super Press is our Premium version and the Original Tofu Press that is bought and trusted since 2011!
- By using a second pair of springs this press "semi-automates" the whole process. The upper pair of springs ensure that constant pressure is applied to the top plate, even though it slowly sinks down as water is removed from the tofu block.
- Readjustment of the knobs may still be necessary in some cases.

#1 Made in the USA out of durable plastic and hardware and will last a life time.
#2 Design is simple and therefore easy to clean, use, and store.
#3 It works exceptionally well and has enabled me to press a brick of tofu down to less than a half an inch!!!!!
#4 it is SO easy to use, wash and dry that I literally went from buying maybe 2-4 blocks of tofu a month to buying 4 blocks a week!!!
My ONLY complaint, and this isn't a complaint as much as it is a WISH, is that I wish there was a version that accommodated two blocks of tofu, as I usually like making two blocks for a family meal.
I love this tofu press, and it has exceeded my expectations. Thank you for an excellent, durable, SMART product that is not just another mystery plastic brittle piece of crap from some factory in China. Thank you 💚🌱 and I don't say this in an anti-China nasty way; I just mean it feels good to support American manufacturing. Thank you.

I got this one as opposed to the "xpress", because there were a few bad reviews on that one in regards to the relatively thin plastic cracking and the springs malfunctioning. The simplicity of this one makes it very unlikely (if not impossible) that it will ever stop working or break. In its simplicity lies its robustness. I do not like ordering things and wondering if/when it's going to break, do I need to save the packaging, are the returns easy, etc.
The only downside however, is that you will have to manually tighten it every so often. I don't consider this to be that hard however. When I'm making a recipe with pressed tofu, I'll throw it in the press first thing, then start rinsing vegetables (tighten it), chop some vegetables (tighten it again), saute some vegetables (tighten it again), and you get the picture. By the time I get to the tofu step, it's sufficiently pressed. I like that because it's held so tightly, I can leave it upright in a mixing bowl, which makes tossing the water a little easier. In the past with the towels/cookbook/plate setup, I had to very carefully transport the plate to the sink so as to not spill the tofu water on the floor as I walked.
Overall, would definitely recommend. Worth the money. Wish I had bought it sooner.
BTW - when the tofu's dry, crumble it, mix with chili powder, then brown in a skillet (don't burn! stir frequently). Use as a chili base or add to a hearty fall (or winter) stew, with lots of vegetables - - Qt. jar of home canned tomatoes, 2 big onions sliced, several cloves sliced garlic, chunked sweet potato, kale, celery, parsley, mushrooms, can of garbanzo beans with liquid, 2 TBL "Better Than Bouillon" low sodium. Let simmer for an hour or two, but watch, it's thick and can burn. So crock-pot it, or get to a boil and put covered pot in oven at 250 F, then you don't have to worry about scorching. My wife asked for seconds.
