The younger cast members are asked to carry things along chez Carrington, including Emma Samms as Fallon. The later seasons draw a lot of criticism online; but they contain some of the best scenes...
There's a chemistry problem with Adam and Dana that actually reinforces their tension over having children. Of the three young Alexis wanna-be's- Tracy, Leslie, and Joanna- Season 8's Leslie may have been the weakest...

But the enduring beauty of Linda Evans and Joan Collins throughout remains the indelible Dynasty signature.

Good, but sometimes predictable. The best part is to see Alexis/Joan Collins dressed to kill in the gorgeous outfits, jewelry and of course her mannerisms. Sorry Season 9 is not available for streaming. When will it be available?

As with every season until Season 8, there were weak and not so weak episodes. The Blake vs. Alexis campaign for governor was a little silly. Jeff and Sammy Jo as a couple was a little silly. The fight over Adam's baby with the surrogate mother was interesting and raised some real moral issues. The Alexis and Shawn story was more than a little silly. The conclusion of the season left a lot to be desired as well. Taken together, a fitting, soapy end to the series for me, until Season 9 is available for free. An interesting trip back in time to those wonderful 1980s.

I love the whole dynasty series. I am currently on season 9. I wish you had (Dynasty The Reunion Part 1 and Part 2). The reunion was broadcast 2 years after the series ended with season 9. They did the 2 part Reunion show to tie up the cliffhanger from series 9 ending. If anyone knows where I can view the Dynasty finish I would love to know

Fun to relive! I was enjoying this so much and was addicted to completing all the seasons and then when viewing season 8. Amazon stated they were pulling this series to Prime members. I had one last season to go and it was gone. So DISAPPOINTING,

The various storylines take a ridiculous turn in this season with snakes and politics. Those two may belong together, but not in a soap. The acting is still very good, though. And there's not one single sighting of a boom mike. Hurry up and get the rest of Season 9 loaded!
