Well balanced vignettes between the various ensemble casts. This episode takes on tough issues with reality and grace. My heart hurt for Crosby and Jasmine, the vet who could not find his way, the parent trying to connect with his adopted son, the photographer easing into a more open relationship world. Beautiful, tight writing (not an extra word anywhere) and beautifully acted. An excellent example of television at its best.

Parenthood is a series about 4 adult siblings, their parents, and their children. Each character occasionally faces realistic difficulties and mistakes which they all try to face with honor and dignity. And through which they are supported by the rest of the family. Every character is so likable that I love spending time with all of them and am sorry when each episode comes to an end.
Everything about this show is excellent, from the acting and directing to the scenery, costumes, and production values.

While Parenthood is always good I am very disappointed with Amazon Prime and the addition charge to view seasons after season 4. This is, after all, a show that is no longer televised. I think Amazon is forgetting where they came from by charging additional fees for viewing the final 2 seasons of this show when you have already purchased amazon prime.

I believe this is the best show on TV today. It really reflects what everyday life is really like. I have watched the entire 3 years of shows and caught up to the current season but I will go back and watch past episodes for many years to come

Great actors, great stories. I don't feel enough credit is given to this show and not enough people are aware of it. Even the children in this show should earn awards for their acting. It should be on at a better time! I watched 52 episodes in a week to catch up to the current season. Only to find the ratings are low and it ends in 2 weeks. Please bring this show back for season 5. People need to watch more shows like this instead of the nonsense that floods our channels. They also need to advertise it more!

This was an emotional season, filled with ups and downs, smiles and tears. I still love this show. I have been hooked since I first watched episode one of season one and to think I just stumbled up it. I had to get Netflix to watch season five and I'll probably get season 6 from the library. I must watch it all!!

Not so bad, not to have been living in the USA when these originally aired, only because I am able to purchase and view them now on Amazon! What a great show, great casting, acting and writing. I highly recommend the associated "Paleyfest", also available on Amazon. So nice to see the characters interact off the set.

This series is one of the best series on television. The acting is excellent and is only surpassed by the timely story lines and writing. If you are a parent or a member of a big family or just a human being who has experienced any sort of life event, this show is for you.
