Like everyone else looking at this bottle we didn't want to feed our baby chemicals & understand that BPA is not the only worrisome formula in plastic. Plus We are outdoors often and I love not worrying about drops as I do when he flings a glass bottle from a backpack while hiking. We've used them for over a year now and no problems with the nipples or rings leaking or being chewed through. There are some small dents where they were dropped on rocks. However despite daily abuse of 3 bottles nothing has impaired the peformance. Our boy likes his milk cold so we use a standard can koozie. Which is also nice to add a personal touch other than a standard frog or construction vehicle. Not 5 stars because I desire a graduated toddler lid not only for convenience but to reduce environmental impact. Perhaps a 360 lid would be nice to avoid a sippy cup stage as there aren't any current companies offering a stainless 360 drinking cup ( hint hint, klean kanteen)

We love the idea behind these bottles but have had some issues. The problem is with the threaded top when the bottle is heated. There are times when it causes the threads to loosen to the point where the top will pop off completely. Trying to re-tighten the lid doesn't help. It's almost as if it becomes cross-threaded and won't tighten again. In the end, you end up losing several ounces of liquid or at times the entire bottle.

This is the second bottle that has had this issue so I don't think it is an anomaly. Very disappointing because we love the idea of stainless steel and no added chemicals. We will be on the hunt for something else similar but more dependable.

I'm disappointed we can't return or exchange this bottle anymore.

Sturdy, chemical free, easy to clean

Great bottle. Only a few small dings despite being thrown multiple times onto a tile floor. Also, BPA free, and leak-proof (if you put the cap on correctly), unlike other eco-friendly bottles. I also like the huge nipples, much more similar to breast. This does not have an automatic bottle burping function like Dr. Brown's or the Playtex bottles, so my kid did have more gas; however, it's worth the peace of mind that my child isn't being poisoned by plastic. I also like that it is a regular cup size, so I use soda can sleeves on this to maintain temperature. The bottles, though the same size theoretically as other Klean Kanteen bottles, is not interchangeable as far as the caps are concerned. So, don't try to buy the spill-proof caps for other Klean Kanteen products and think it will fit fine. Nipples are very sturdy and do not stain--I have used mine for over 7 months and still have not needed to replace, unlike with my Gerber and Dr. Brown's bottles. Wide-mouth means easy to fill and easy to clean without the need for special bottle brushes.

I didn't want a bunch of bottles, so I splurged on a few Klean Kanteen baby bottles. I love them!! They are easy to clean, easy to hold for me and my little guy. Any time we are out on the town, someone always tells me how cool they are. I feel like they are better for my baby and the environment. If you are thinking about getting these, hit the buy button! You won't regret !! This would make a great gift as well.

Love this bottle.. A little heavy, needs a cozy for hot or cold drinks but baby isn't drinking cappuccinos or caipirinhas yet.. Just a bit of water. Handles the throwing well of an exuberant 6 month old. CON: the neck isn't universal for the 'sippy' lid. :(

This container is perfect size for my son's lunch bag. I purchased a Kleen Kanteen lid to go with it. Never had a leak in his lunch bag and it does well in the dishwasher. My son (in grade school) has not had any issues with opening nor drinking from it and no one has the slightest idea that's it is part of a baby bottle. The baby can still drink from it as a bottle and it will grow with her with having the different lids. I don't have to worry about more chemicals leaching into their water from this container.

We've used this bottle for 1 year now and can attest to its quality. It is the only bottle we used: we only own 1 bottle. We clean it after each use and it's always on the counter, waiting to be used again. Buy the box of nipples, so that you have back-up nipples on hand when your baby gets teeth- you will need to replace the nipple with a new one every other month or so. If you have small hands or weak hands you will have a hard time unscrewing the top. We have a rubbery "jar opener" thingy that helps.

I have been using this bottle for 3 months and really like the quality, shape and durability of it. Baby likes it too. It warms up quickly just by running under the tap shortly and the shape makes it comfortable to hold. I hope they come out with a sippy lid for it because that would give it 5 stars!
