Nice tumblers

Received them in very good time, I wanted something to use for my glass of wine without using ice cubes to keep my wine cold, so these tumblers were ideal, but I was a little skeptical because of the reviews stating that the twin layers when washing them the water gets in between the liners, so I decided to take a chance, so far, so good. I do not put them in the water, I use a soapy dish cloth, and only wash the inside and rinse them in clear water while in my hand, and do the same on the outside without dunking them in the water. Dry with paper towel, and I have not have a problem with mine. Or you can also use a bottle brush with the cloth tip, and only clean the inside, and of course outside without drenching or submerging them, and do not put them in a dishwasher. You will be fine the four star is for needing to do that much work. But it's okay.

These are fun! My wife uses them for 'Pour at Four' in our neighborhood - where a dozen or more women walk down the street to gather at a neighbor's house for an hour every few weeks. They bring whatever drink they desire - in her case, a glass of white wine! We gave the red wine glass to our neighbor, who prefers red! And they greatly enjoy the hour of social contact!!
While not all that pretty, the thing actually works pretty well - the slide-valve at the top seals well, and the insulation is pretty good, too. I don't think you can find a better plastic wine glass!

Good, but eventually they leak

These are good glasses - especially if you want to keep something from getting into your wine. They will eventually leak, though. These did after a couple of months. When you knock them over, there is some spillage but not what there would be if you knocked over a regular glass. When I first started using these, I was afraid there would be a lot of leakage and I would have red wine dribbles down my shirt, but that didn't happen until they started leaking a little. When you tip the glass up to finish when there is about an inch left in the glass is when it starts to leak. I wish they were made of stronger material, too. If you drop one on a hard floor it will crack.

I bought these for my mom for a silly Christmas present. She lives by the beach and often in the summer we head down to the lake to watch the sunset and bring wine or other drinks in coffee mugs. I thought this would be a much better option. Keepin it classy!

The first set I ordered were lost in shipping somehow. They showed as delivered to my house. I waited and waited, didn't see them the next day so I contact Amazon. Within minutes, Amazon emailed me back with a refund and also shipped out another set with 1 day delivery. I ordered about 90% of my Christmas presents on Amazon this year and I never have issues with delivery. It was great to know that customer service came through when there was an issue.

The owners of the company I got them from are great. One of our cups had a small manufacturing defect in the top and when I sent them a picture of it, they responded to my email within a couple hours- even on Christmas day- and they sent me a new top- no questions asked. This was a gift for my mom. It's a great idea and a bit of a funny gift for a wine lover (especially the wine lover who takes her wine glass to backyard bonfires!)

The lids are very tight fitting though... which is great so that the wine doesn't spill. However, it's so tight fitting that it's incredibly difficult to get the lid off to fill it up in the first place. I'm not sure if this will work itself out as it's used, but I did have to warn my mom that she may need to use a bit of force to get them off and to be careful if there's a little wine left in the bottom and she wants to refill it.

I ordered 3 sets of these glasses for a girl's wine tasting weekend. The product arrived in a box with no packaging slip. 2 of the 3 sets were wrapped in bubble wrap, foam, had handle and care instructions inside each glass. The third set had a shrink wrap of plastic, no bubble or foam wrap, and no handling instructions. They were also obviously different and cheaper looking than the other two sets. Also one of the glasses in one set was cracked. I called Amazon and was told if I didn't want to return the glasses, then I needed to contact the dealer. I contacted the dealer and was told it was Amazon's problem. The glasses arrived on Wednesday, I needed them Saturday, so there was not time to exchange. Amazon is refunding me for the two inferior quality glasses and I do not need to return them, but I can't understand how different items could be sent, when I ordered the same. Also ...where was the packing slip???

These were a cute, nice addition to the gift basket I made for friends. I made a basket with wine, cheese, even found dog wine for their pooch. I filled these glasses with gold tinsel and they finished off the basket nicely. The reason I gave 4 stars is that the glasses, although cute, felt rather cheap. But since they arent glases one would use every day..I still think they are cute..and an inexpensibve way to finish off a nice gift!
