Ordered this card (GHZ 7870) on Dec 5 and got it on Dec 7..way to go AMAZON! Fastest shipping (and it was free shipping!) I have ever seen or heard of. You have a customer for life if this is how you run your business! Ok on to the review..
Card arrived perfect condition box was unopened and not a scratch on it. Exactly as I was hoping for. The card hooked up to my MSI 990FX-GD65 V2 board with zero problems. Downloaded the latest drivers (Win 7 64bit) and I was off and running. Decent upgrade form my Geforce GTX560ti (448 core one)..I am a gamer and I notice improved frame rates of 10-30fps so far in games I was running before. I received the Silver AMD gamer free downloads (2 free games) and couldn't be happier! The card runs quiet and seems to put out less heat than my GTX560ti did (I know because my computer heats my room in the winter).
Now on to the so called negative point. I bought this card for 159.99 (no complaint there!) and as soon as I purchased they pulled the rebate page and link so I cannot get the rebate of 15.00 for the card now. The 2 free games more than satisfy me about not getting a rebate but I was just kind of wondering why they offer a rebate then change the page like it never was offered. Not worth looking into since I picked up the free games..and definitely not worth taking a star off for.

No frills card (nothing but CD and a sticker was included) for the price = happy gamer!
Oh and if you wondering if PCI Xpress 3.0 card in a 2.0 slot makes a difference? It doesn't. Mine runs exactly as its supposed to.
Last thing..they show a 7790 on the page but it is indeed the Ghz 7870 that you will receive. I was skeptical on the price myself.
I recommend this card for everyone except hardcore gamers that need high resolution (2560x1080 and above) but for full HD 1920x1080 its perfect! Happy gaming!

Good sound, good temps

Used this GPU for years. Good sound, good temps, but the unsealed blower design has a habit of getting dust everywhere if it doesn't have its own filtered intakes somewhere. I had mine in the side of an Elite 130 that has no filter on the GPU side so it got quite filthy.

When in Doubt, Reinstall Drivers

I was wary of buying this video card because I had heard nightmares about the drivers. First impressions were good. It installed easy and my computer powered up no problem. When I tried to play Heroes of Newerth on ultra settings I noticed strange rendering lines in the middle of the screen that I didn't have with my previous card (a low end GT 630). I am not computer savvy, but I decided to re-download the latest drivers and it seemed to fix the problem.

After a week I got an AVG notification saying it needed to quarantine a file. It was a strange notification I had never seen before, I can't remember the name of the "problem". Later that day my computer went to sleep mode, when I moved my mouse my screens turned a different shade of black but didn't display. I pushed several buttons and deciphered that the computer was on but the video card wasn't displaying. I had to hold down the power button till my computer went off to get it to display again. I regretted my purchase after I read about the 7870 and higher versions of this card having similar problems. The solutions were to adjust with "logs" and that was way above my head. I wanted to throw my computer out the window at this point because the idea of wasting time to send in the rebate, box the card back up, and send it back to Amazon drove me crazy.

Thankfully I linked the AVG "quarantine" to the driver after some persistence. I Uninstalled and reinstalled the driver again and it was fixed. This card is a great value, but be careful with programs like AVG, it sabotaged my drivers somehow (or maybe it as all consequential) . While I had some difficulty with the card they were problems I could fix, and I'm sure somehow they were user inflicted problems anyways.

Now that there aren't any quirks or problems with my card I can say how awesome it is. Like the other reviewers say it plays most games at ultra. I run two monitors with no problems. I would definitely recommend this card.

Very good card -- awesome with latest ATI Video Drivers released Nov '13!

Good overall card. Allows me to crank some games up to higher level than I've been able to with the 7750 card. I do notice when its cranking away in Total War Rome 2 it gets pretty hot in my desk area containing my tower. No alarms yet just saying I notice the heat a tad more. The price on this card last month was on point and great value.

For WoW, it works amazing well with very high settings. However, when I first bought and installed it last month -- I was crashing randomly in game. But I am happy to report that with the latest ATI drivers of 13.12 beta recently released online that has stopped all together and in fact the game looks even better now. Great drivers!

I was a longtime Nvidia consumer -- but for the last few years I've enjoyed all of my ATI Radeon card very much and most likely will not go back to Nvidia.

Great card for the money

I've had this card for 6 months now and I'm definitely happy with it. It gets great frame rates for the price and get the job done when using opencl accelerated programs.

Pros:
Small, fits in my HAF 912 without having to remove the hard drive cage and has an extra 2 or so inches to spare
Fast, 60fps in Bioshock Infinite at 1080p ultra on stock clocks.
Cool, never had it get above 70C even overclocked

Cons:
Some coil whine on my card, loud at 60% and really annoying at 80% and above
Not an overclocker, my card will only push to 1090 MHz core clock and 1350MHz Memory before artifacting or blue screening
Voltage locked

Great card for the money! Rebate is a scam though, don't hold out for it. I didn't care that much but if the $15 really matters to you, don't buy into any of the rebates. They just send you a message saying the UPC code on the box didn't match your receipt.
