I admit I had doubts because of made in China . However it played like a champ and the speed change part is lot better than the Dremel I replaced. Dremel is quite fragile and just even a soft fall on the floor kills em dead. Hope this one lasts as just got it.
Dremel bits fit just fine too and I like the keyless chuck. But always a negative the off and on switch instantly was hard to find to turn on and off. I know it has to be somewhere but seems to always be in the wrong spot. Tool is used mainly for sharpening chain saw chain.

This high-speed rotary tool generally works well, though it's a bit bulkier than the Dremel it replaces. However, at low speeds, torque is fairly low (i.e., speed is not maintained by feedback). For example, using a cutoff wheel bogs down at low speeds, and higher speeds can shatter the disk, or even bend the mandrel. However, for the price, <US$20, it's worthwhile.

I installed a cut off wheel and was doing a test cut on the box it came in when the wheel just broke off and disappeared into the garage shelves. Then I was using the Ryobi one and it was working fine until I had it at like 5-6 speed and it belt at a 45° angle and began vibrating the tool so much it was hard for me to turn it off. I began questioning if this was it, the end, but at least it stay attached and didn't fly off somewhere. The grinding bits are useless for steel bolts Dremel ones and the ones provided it's like using sandpaper on a bolt, it would take all night just to grind away one of them and I don't trust those cutoff wheels anymore either. Plastic or wood is the only thing I'd use this for metal is deadly.

I wasn’t expecting much from a $15 +/- rotary tool. As someone who has used the Dremel brand in the past. I can say this won’t disappoint. I was surprised on the speed when I turned it on and it was only on setting “1”. I turned it up even more and tested it out with a couple of bits. This thing is an absolute unit! Honestly even if it broke, you could buy 3 of these by the time you buy an actual Dremel. Count me in!
