We can only hope....
For the "average" worker, there is no "undercover boss" that looks at what the actual foundation of business is and who keeps it working. No one who acknowledges those that actually come to work and do their jobs to the best of their ability, despite every day family and life challenges. So, maybe there is some hope...maybe those with a work ethic will be rewarded. But the reality is, the average worker is "just a number", and as most employers today clearly state..."if you don't like it..leave". For those that do their job, "as assigned" responsibilities, just get added without any additional $
or recognition.
For those companies that value your employees and treat them well, may you thrive and prosper.

A truly enjoyable series. I have watched and enjoyed nearly all 3 seasons of episodes. I really enjoy the employees when they are doing their best under adverse circumstances. Many have had real issues in their lives to overcome and to see how they perform exceptional work and really enjoy their jobs is a thrill. No matter how low or high the position they hold, they bring a strong spirit and love of life to all who work with them.

My husband and I like Undercover Boss and have watched all episodes from the beginning. What surprises me is that more people don't catch on and realize the boss is undercover, but they always have some excuse as to why a camera crew is there (example: they're in a contest or something). Some employees do end up recognizing the boss (which is usually a CEO) and then, the boss has to let them know what's going on. I think companies should watch Undercover Boss and take a few hints. Many companies and their "higher ups" could use some clues on how to treat their employees and make for a happier work environment and also realize how people have to live on such meager wages sometimes.

Very informative. If majority of the CEO can only understand what the lowliest employee in the organization feels, they will appreciate more and maybe do more for their team to everyone's success. Its a win-win situation!

I love this show for many reasons but the biggest one is to see the bosses find the best in people. I have watched 4 seasons now and I have only seen two people get "fired". Even when they most certainly deserved to be let go, most were given a second chance to be better. As a Director who oversees 100+ people, it has taught me a lot about mercy and looking for the best in everyone. Most to lead to their strengths! And it is always good for a feel good cry. Love Love LOVE this show.

Generally speaking, "Undercover Boss" is one of the few positive programs on television. It helps to develop a good relationship between the employee and employer. In most cases you come away with the feeling that the boss cares. Even the employ that is lacking has the opportunity to come out on top if he listens. I see why some of these guys are at the top. They care of course about their job and the outcome but they care about people.

This show gives you a backstage pass to a lot of different industries. Sometimes you can watch the "boss" as s/he grows as a person while working along side the "others." Always interesting!

I enjoyed watching good people going over and above their jobs and getting justly rewarded for it. The show proves the point that you never know when you will be blessed by going through life doing what's right.
