Why has there been no DVD release of season two? It's a great, underrated show to be sure. But all this streaming and instant video stuff is just wasting money, in my opinion. I want to OWN the actual physical discs, so I can watch the episodes anytime, and maybe even share with my friends. Season one has been out for well over a year now.

I have to admit, I only knew about Suburgatory because it came on before Modern Family, and we always caught the last few minutes. I recently purchased both seasons through Amazon and LOVE it. It's really clever, but also poignant. Loving this show.

It took a few episodes for me to finally pinpoint why I didn't love it the way I LOVED the first season. I finally came to the conclusion that the entire second season, it seems like the writers are trying too hard to make the show as quirky and funny as the first season--instead of letting it happen naturally, it seems really forced and, well, like they're simply trying way too hard to be funny which makes it not funny. The first season, I was continually laughing out loud, the second, I was lucky if I'd do anything more than crack a smile during an episode and an actual belly laugh was a rarity. It did happen, occasionally, and I do enjoy the characters, so I liked seeing what would happen to them this season, but if you loved the first season, just brace yourself for season 2 to not be quite as endearing or funny. I don't regret purchasing it, I just wish it had been as wonderful as the first season.

Some weeks fall flat, but when Suburgatory is good, it's great. An excellent ensemble, great characters. As Tessa and her dad assimilate into the community more, some of the original magic is lost, but if they didn't they might risk becoming static caricatures.

Funny, quirky, and even a little bit heartwarming. This is definitely one of my favorite shows! I'm hoping for Season 3!

Loved this show, it's a real shame that it was cancelled. Word was that they were shopping the show around to other networks...hopefully it'll pop up somewhere again. I think Netflix would be a great place to have the show. I really hope they put out season 2 on DVD soon.
