Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Took a little figuring out at first as to how to exactly do each task, but once we did it’s a cute little game, good learning based activities, no ads. I recommend it.
My almost 4 y/o loves the Dr. Panda games. They are fun, interactive and cute. Her fav is the Daycare, where she feeds everyone and puts them to bed. We just found this new one and immediately bought it. This one is cute, has lots to do, however I feel like there could have been a little more. Checking out EACH customer for example, or when choosing and weighing the food, having the child put the scan sticker on by themselves. This would be a great chance to learn early money skills, but you just put the money back in the drawer according to color/size...thinking there could be a version where the skills are a little harder for the kids who already love Dr. Panda and want more! Still, great game, will definitely buy the next Dr. Panda when it comes out, whatever it may be!
The only bad review states there is nodirections , which is indeed true but really, my two year old worked out what to do within minutes. It doesn't need directions. Click on the animal and then click again to sit them in the trolley I mean c'mon.
The game is great. It has a nice mix of activities as per usual that are fun and educational. The characters are adorable as always. Activities include sorting money, picking the correct items from the shelf, making coffeee , putting bags in animals cars, pick and mix!, jigsaw type game where you unload blocks from the truck, a cart wrangling game and cleaning up the spills. The beauty of these games is kids have to figure it out, use your brain because the game won't tell you what to do. You know, like life.
My kids like all the Dr. Panda games. Ages 6 (boy) and 9 (girl) play it all the time. I will say they feel like it slows down and sometimes it won't open so we end up deleting and then reinstalling or finding a new one to play. There are so many it really don't matter which one they do. I do not pay for any, which i guess is good because they aren't that reliable when it comes to playing. It's simple and does help the children learn, so if you can deal with the slow and sometimes frustrating moments, this is the app for your child.
I really like this game. It gives a realistic set of problems to solve in a supermarket setting. My 5 year old, however, hasn't managed to figure out how to make it work. Unlike other dr panda products which are instantly intuitive, this one requires more involvement. It has a slightly different feel to it than the other games and that makes it a bit more difficult to initially get involved in. You have to tap on the creatures multiple times but they don't have thinking bubbles as other dr panda games have (which prompt the user to tap them). Also, environmental items require interaction, but this is not entirely obvious at first. Honestly, it's lots of fun but my daughter needs some "questing sparkles" to get her started.
The Dr.Panda game series is absolutely delightful for young children. (Toddlers/preschoolers) although I've seen older children take a turn at it, because the premise of each game is engaging and fascinating.
One of the things that amaze me about these games, and began to note about it lacking in others, is the fantastic optimization. The space these games tend to take up are a few hundred kilobytes - whereas many games do not seem as well-optimized. The amount of art, music, and cute vox sound effects in these games compared to others puts some apps to shame! :)
Dr.P's Supermarket took a little bit more time for the small person to understand, mini-game wise, mostly in where the location of them are. Some things have sparkly-glows, and some objects rattle about to attract attention(the shopping cart game). Some of these things seemed to take a bit for her to discover.
My girls absolutely LOVE this game! I've bought the full version for all of the Dr. Panda games and have never been disappointed. That being said, I didn't hesitate to purchase this new release and you shouldn't either! Supermarket is hands down the best. I haven't actually taken the time to establish how many mini games are on each app, but I honestly think this one has the most.
Not only are there the typical supermarket responsibilities of scanning and bagging groceries, but also a few behind the scenes jobs such as collecting the carts from the lot and restocking the warehouse. The variety is truly amazing, and as with all of the Dr. Panda games there are little tidbits of knowledge hidden among all the fun! Highly recommend.
This was the first of many of the Dr Panda apps we acquired and continues to be one of my boys favorites! I actually got this full version free as it was Amazon Appstore's free app of the day one day. My boys have been playing this one for well over a year and still enjoy it (and they are almost five.) They get to do a lot of the real life tasks of working/shopping in a supermarket: collecting carts, picking items from a grocery list, moving boxes with a forklift, mopping up spills, ringing up customers, etc. This is a wonderful little app! I highly recommend it!
The kids enjoy Dr Panda. They know and understand not to purchase anyting and I feel confident when they play this game that are not exposed to any hazards.
Absolutely love this game as I got free with the games day my brother and sister love it and are never bored of the games as their are lots of different mini games to keep little fingers occupied and you push the trolley along getting all the things they want. As I now own every doctor Panda game ever would definitely rate this one of the top games. For girls I would recommend the beauty parlour and for boys the builder/handyman game.
