I am using two of these on my chair for my Thrustmaster T.16000 flight sticks. There are bolts that can be tightened so the arms don't move in a space battle. Tightened them down and they just don't move! I used velcro to attach the sticks.

For anyone trying to mount a TV from a pole, this is it! I have a pole framed canopy bed from Crate and Barrel and wondered how I could mount a tv from it. I've seen TV's mounted from big thick wood canopy frames before like they were wall mounted cause wood is thick, but from a pole????? I had to see if there was a mount out there to make my dreams come true. After having been quoted like $350 to make this happen, I said heck no. I'll look on Amazon. THIS WAS IT! And what I loved most about putting this together is that it was so easy. I created a harder situation in my mind regarding pulling this together, but it was easy peasy. The mount is very strong and durable. Before putting it on to the canopy, I taped industrial strength Velcro around the placement spot on the pole and then screwed the bracket around that and everything locked tight and in place. My TV is only 8 pounds and I think this mount can hold up to at least 25 or 30 pounds worth of TV. Yes...this is one of my prouder Amazon purchases

Laptop Stand Alternative for Keyboard Players

I recently started using Mainstage as my main live performance Keyboard rig. I needed something that would allow my laptop to be close so I am not straining my eyes to see the screen and something that would allow my laptop to be within reach in case I needed to make any tweaks. I purchased the following three (3) items to achieve what I was after. So far I am very pleased to say the least.

If the keyboard is oriented where I am playing in the standing position the RockJam Pro Laptop Stand will telescope to a maximum height of 40.5 inches to the bottom of the laptop. This is using the AmazonBasics Notebook Laptop Stand Arm Mount Tray instead of tray supplied with the RockJam unit. The AmazonBasics Laptop stand is constructed of heave gauge steel and is rock solid. I did not care for the included RockJam tray. It was too flimsy and I did not have any confidence in it. The computer (2017 MacBook Pro) is very stable at the maximum extended height and does not demonstrate any concerns of tipping over.

My favorite piece is the Bracket Pole Mount Double Arm by Pro Signal. The clamp is designed to mount on a pole with a minimum diameter of 1-3/8 inches. The RockJam telescoping pole has an outside diameter of 1 inches. Too small for the Bracket Pole Mount Double Arm. So I used industrial grade heat shrink that has resin built into the heatshrink to keep water and moisture out (Electrical application Heatshrink). I applied two (2) layers of this heatshrink and the Pole mount clamp fit very snug to this and holds its position without sliding.

I’m using these in a bit of an unorthodox way. I built a workstation with a zero gravity chair, where I can recline and the monitors hang down above me. So take this review with a grain of salt.

The required pole size is pretty large and so it’s not very adaptable if you want to use smaller poles. You have to mount the monitor to the end of the arm directly (no bridge piece or anything) so that’s kinda tricky to hold and attach. The screws themselves kinda strip and flake so you won’t want to tighten or adjust too much. The arms aren’t quite strong enough if you ask me in terms of being able to lock the monitor in place (again mine is upside down not horizontal so that affects this).

The last thing I will mention is the different VESA (or whatever it’s called) sizes doesn’t mean either size will work with your monitor. In particular I mean I had a monitor that worked with the smaller size but the extra metal for the larger size blocked the monitor hdmi and other inputs.

Would have received 5 stars if it came with a few rubber sleeves to support different size poles. I wanted to mount my monitor to one of those generic wire shelf rack poles. Unfortunately, the pole mount was too big. Ended up wrapping a few strips of cardboard around the pole first and then mounting. Once I did this the mount worked great! Super easy to install.

Good for adding a 4th monitor

I'm probably using this for the wrong application. I wanted to add a 4th monitor to a 3-monitor stand I have on my desk, by attaching this arm to the pole in the back. I turned the arm 90 degrees so I can get up and down movement (vs side to side) and it works, but of the 3 joints, the middle one can not be tightened by hand, which means I have to set the arm leaning back on itself. Otherwise the monitor wants to sink down onto the one below it. It works however but I can't line the monitor up perfectly with the one below it. Certainly not a flaw of the arm by any means.

Pure genius, allowed me to use my old treadmill for a flight simulator setup. IMHO it will support a lot more than specs, especially if additional ruber padding inserted under the OEM to increase grip.

The mounting options are many, you can open every joint and reposition it to your liking.

The cable management is good.

Centering a monitor in a lateral pole setup (treadmill bars in my case) is very easy.

Would buy again anytime.

After sinking money into a H.O.T.A.S to play some Flight sim/Space sim games, I began to develop a mild ache in my shoulders due to my controllers being suction cup mounted to the desk and having no support to rest my arms on in between. That's when I decided it was time to look into a new way to mount my controllers, and so began the hunt for the ultimate H.O.T.A.S setup (for myself). I checked Desk mounting with Foxx Mount, Chair mounting with Monster Tech, People making their own D.I.Y Chair attachments and ultimately after hours upon hours of searching, researching, waiting for stock and comparing prices (Which mind you, was made doubly hard as an Australian), I had finally found the Ultimate option which was both easy to setup AND didn't ruin the look of my chair.

As a bonus, the way it was set up also was surprisingly compact and retractable and didn't affect the functionality of the chair in anyway!

The joints all had a screw to one side that allowed me to tighten them to my desired stiffness (The middle joint required a bit more force to pry off the plastic cap however. Try a butter knife)

Slapped on some Velcro tape on the vesa mount and the base of my controllers and BAM! GAMING THRONE DREAM COME TRUE!
