When compared to some of the older models it's not even near as difficult to put together, but the overall product shows off well and is in scale with the old wrebbit models. It gets a four star rating because the base comes apart easy on the narrow side, the antenna just needs to be cut to fit, and I used a piece of tape to keep the two antenna pieces together. Overall tho I hope more new ones get made, maybe Burj Khalifa, Shanghai world financial center would be awesome, but inside cardboard supports would also be nice. Overall puzzle displays well, took only a few hours, and while it has some flaws it was still fun to put together.
I l purchased this for a friend who is an avid puzzle guy....he loves putting together puzzles and loves a good challenger....I thought he would really enjoy this HOWEVER, he did not like this puzzle, had several leftover pieces that would not fit into the puzzle and the puzzle, although he tried to finish it, had holes in it because there were missing pieces and it was leaning really bad....would not recommend this puzzle at all
This is a beautifully detailed puzzle of One World Trade Center - New York City's newest and greatest skyscraper. I was able to complete it in about 5-6 hours.
The reason for the 4 star rating is that the quality was a bit lower than I'm used to with the Puzz 3D brand as I've done several (Empire State Building, Sears Tower, West Coast Trio, etc) in the past and they all fit together perfectly right out of the box without modification. However, in this case, I had to modify a few pieces such as the roof - had to slightly enlarge the hole for the spires to fit without the roof pieces separating and I had to trim the bottom of the spire pieces slightly so the base of the spire would sit flush with the roof.
With that being said, I would still high recommend this puzzle and I'm glad to see the Puzz 3D brand make a comeback as well.
Very disappointed. My son meticulously put the entire puzzle together within two days, and was extremely disappointed that a piece of this puzzle was missing.
