Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

I have to review these simply because of the bad reviews. I sometimes wonder if people write the bad reviews just to see if they can get a freebie or something back from seller. Dont put down these sellers they on the whole are smaller businesses just trying to keep up with the big box stores. Anyway these pecans were off the chain! They are sweet and meaty and just plain satisfying. Priced high? Well if you ever went out to the trees picked/harvested the nuts and than shucked them you would know its work to get these little tasty nuggets to you. Thanks pecan pickers your product is great! I love raw pecans. I usually purchase them from Trader Joes (the raw ones, not the bags that have "extra flavoring"), but I thought since I was one short on my subscribe and save for the month I would try these. That being said, these are not my favorite to eat raw. I am not sure what the difference is between these and the ones that I purchase from Trader Joes, but I taste a distinct difference that between the two. My boy-friend suggested that possibly these weren't meant to be baked with only, but raw is raw, right?
The TJ's brand has more flavor, and is more addictive to eat. These are very bland and leave nothing more for me to want.
When my pecan pieces arrived, since it was a large quantity, I immediately put them in the freezer until I could use them. When I used the first amount (about 1/4 c) I thought they tasted and smelled funny. Several days later I tried another 1/4 c and knew then that they were rancid. I cannot eat the remainder of the nuts and so I guess will throw them away. What a waste of money and they leave a "bad taste" in my mouth for ordering from this company again.
These are very good, raw, pecan pieces. I've discovered clearly that I really do prefer organic pecans, both in principle, and in taste, but these are quite fine for what they are. I like to soak them in sea-salted water, then dry them at low temperature (160F), which makes them taste even better, and makes them more digestible.
Although the picture of this product seems to show many pecan halves, the product was small broken pieces. When I soaked them overnight in salt water and slow/low-heat dried/roasted them, even that could not hide that they were old... had probably been in the package/warehouse much too long... certainly not the current season of harvest. THEY WERE RANCID AND DISCUSTING TO THE TASTE AND TO MY STOMACH. THIS PRODUCT SHOULD NOT BE SO MISHANDLED.
These came to me with both packages damaged and the pecan pieces were old and rancid. I threw them out since they were all over the cardboard box and oily.
