So fresh, and amazingly mostly whole slices, not hardly any broken or "dusty". They taste to me as fresh as if they were sliced and bagged only a short time after harvesting them. They came in a cellophane type bsg, wrapped in bubble wrap in a box. For a bag of sliced almonds at my grocers I would have to pay about $24.00, and I would have to buy them in 3 to 8 ounce bags. I've not compared this price to any of those bulk stores though that I've read about in other reviews here on Amazon. I cannot find anything bad to say about these wonderfully delicious almonds. I would though, be careful when opening the bag. The bag is packed quite full and the cellophane though sturdy as a wrapper will tear down the front very easily and quickly as cellophane tends to do. I will put their bag into a larger ziplock before opening the next bag so I don't lose a cup full to my lap as I did this one. Thankyou. Monica

Had I shopped more carefully in grocery stores before ordering, I would have bought a competing product from my local store. If your local grocery options are limited, however, this could be a very viable option.
