I purchased this item based off of a DIY for a snap-scarf. I didn't realize until using it that prongs varied in length based on snap-size. The product worked for me but I should have used a shorter prong or smaller snap size. I was using these snaps on a thin scarf material. These probably work well for a thicker jersey knit, maybe even khaki material. This was my first time using snaps and the instructions included were very helpful, clear and concise.

Fasten my duvet inside my ikea duvet cover. It was an inexpensive cover without snaps. The duvet would work its way out and two of these snaps did the job. I had a piece of 2x4 and I hammer, and completed the job in a few minutes right there on the kitchen table. Bravo for the tool, it's perfect and this is a great value kit.

I purchased this kit and what I understood would be compatible extra snaps. (Snap Source Open Long-Prong Snaps Size 16 10/Pkg-Silver) However, when I started using it on the Snap Source snaps, the snap got jammed into the tool and I cannot even pry it out. So now the tool is useless. It did ok with the FOUR snaps it came with.
