Athletics...scandals...dark comedy...and Mark Evan Jacobs as the quick-witted, crisis-solving Athletic Director. Highly recommended.

The development of Luther (Kevin McNamara) and the introduction of Hannah (Teri Wyble) and Eric Nenninger (Roger) creates a broader universe of significantly more complex motives and ideas. Marc Evan Jackson delivers a strong performance as Jim Dunnigan's emotions towards Glory University continue to shape him as a person.

Season 1 had a forced, nonsensical, ongoing subplot of Jim Dunnigan's romantic relationship with Claire Miller (Amy K. Harmon) that is thankfully absent in this season and only barely alluded to once. With the removal of this subplot the series is able to devote more time to the varied roles of politics within and beyond the university setting while it grounds Jim Dunnigan in his own past and allows him to address his values. Suit Up has been since the beginning about Jim's relationship with Glory University, and this season delivers just that.

I never thought I could get so attached to branded entertainment, but here I am.
