OMG!! frikkin commercials. I can't believe it! Now I have to click into the show and click out of the show and yank my headphones off. What the heck did I buy the season for? Season 1 and season 2 don't have commercials!! just season 3 Hello Amazon, usually when you pay for a show you don't have to watch commercials. Why ruin a great show? Why slap a loyal customer in the face? Wish I could get my money back.

Coming into this show I expected it to be bad. Now in the third season I'm loving it. Waiting for new episodes is very difficult. Elijah Wood is awesome and Jason Gann is hilarious. I suggest this to anyone who likes a good laugh.

I'm not sure if i am going insane or this show is just that good :-) lol
i love this show Frodo definitely does a good job. i have seen the original Australian version but this one is by far better. has all the questions of lost but none of the suicidal feelings when you find out what the answers were and just feel betrayed by the writes :-) lol

I haven't seen any full episodes of the Australian version, but I've seen clips. What I like about the American version is that they decided to take the concept in a whole new direction - Wilfred as a mystery (dog or delusion), and Ryan as either a guy going through a rough patch with a really unusual friend, or a guy slipping down into insanity, constantly sabotaging himself and blaming it on his neighbor's dog (Son of Sam, anyone?) Some of the humor is immature, to be sure, but I find a lot of the jokes are funnier if you're a dog owner. Overall, very clever.

Wilfred is an unusual show overall, and an unusual comedy in particular, because it addresses mental health in a very truthful and consistent way. I know that seems funny to say about a show where the gag is that one of the actors is dressed like a dog, but it's true. The show is ultimately about Elijah Wood's character's struggle with his sense of reality, sense of self, depression, feelings of paranoia, desire to cut himself off from the outside world, and the like.

I've never had feelings either way about Elijah Wood before watching this show - I thought he was a capable actor, and that was all. But after seeing the first 3 seasons of Wilfred, I've changed my mind - he's great. He can get laughs from the exasperated looks he gives Wilfred in reaction to something crazy Wilfred has done, and he can also elicit a lot of empathy in the show's darker and more personal moments. Even though on the outside this show looks like one big long running gag, on the inside there's much more. (But it is also very funny, too, in case you're wondering.)

Of my friends who have ever struggled with depression or other mental health issues, they all love this show. My other friends can take it or leave it. If you can relate to any of this, I think you'll find something special in this show. Give it a shot!

The first time I ordered this Disc one was unrecognized in my region 1 bluray player, and Xbox 360 that plays region 1 DVDs. However, disc 2 did work. So I thought it was just scratched. So I returned it for a replacement. Same exact thing happened. It says All Regions in the specs. But won't work region 1 properly (Atleast in my conclusion). I wouldn't bother buying it.

I like this episode a lot, but I feel like they are dragging out the series. I just want to find out what's the source of Ryan's hallucinations.

Opinion: I assume Ryan's in a mental hospital thinking of all these things and putting together images he's seen in the past with his present mental state, but i want to find out what's actually wrong with him at this point - and if I'm right... this show is great, but i feel like it should have ended with a few more episodes in this series.
