I bought this 5 pack of 2GB SD cards to load up with Project M copies. They arrived faster than expected in individual packaging. There are no cases at all, so if you want protection you will either need to buy a case/cases, or just keep it in whatever device you are using it for (in my case, a Wii).
They work, but there is a little rectangular blip that holds the card in place in the package that seems to have caused a barely perceptable warp that makes inserting and especially withdrawing a little sticky. They might push in without clicking back into place, but they still work. After pushing in to remove, you might need to pinch with finger nails to pull them out.
I have found that repeated isertion and withdrawal loosens them, as does pressing with thumb between two fingers -- a combination works best. I suspect from the ease of the working fix, they will return to proper shape in my flat memory card wallet. Meanwhile, they are workable.
What can I say, they work as they are designed to work, they come in nice holders for easy storage,I use them for trail camera's and the small cases that come with them make them a life saver in rainy weather to keep them dry and easy to store. Price was the biggest reason we bought them through Amazon as they were $5.00 cheaper then on Ebay and quicker shipping. very pleased
I am a court reporter. Bought one pack of these for my steno machine. Used one for a few depositions. This last deposition I was 43 pages in and my machine started beeping and locked up. Didn't know what was going on. Rebooted machine and opened a different file. Thirty-four pages later it happened again. I repeated the same process. Eighteen pages later it happened again, at which time my machine wouldn't reboot. Changed my SD card to the other SD card I bought and it got me through the rest of the deposition. Never in 25 years has this happened. Obviously will not be using these again. DO NOT RECOMMEND!
Needed older SD (non-SDHC) cards for my car of only 2GB. These are brand new and hold about 13 cd's of music. I'm very pleased with being able to purchased new old stock format. Other reviewers comments about finding these for cameras seamed to me that they would work in my 10 years old Mercedes Benz Comand NTG 2.5 system and they did perfectly.
I received my memory cards today. There were FIVE individually packaged cards encased in plastic with a cardboard sleeve. The plastic is not an actual storage case. It does snap closed and might work for a little while before it falls apart. But its purpose is for packaging. I would give it five stars if it did have an actual case for storage. I bought these for my older Nikon D50 camera. I took a few pictures to try it out and it worked great so far. At his point, however, I do not know how many pictures 2 GB will actually hold.
I needed these 2GB cards in bulk for service technicians to load software onto old microcontrollers that did not support larger capacity cards that were available locally. These cards worked perfectly and did not break the bank in doing so.
We use these SD 2GB Memory Cards all the time. My husband and I both have older cameras. These are the only SD cards that will work with our older Kodak cameras. Will keep buying them as long as they are available... Best ever price!!
