Ordered this Thursday night & received it Monday morning. That's pretty fast I'd say especially when it was estimated to come on Wednesday. I love this portable battery! Straight out of the box, the danbo was fully charged and ready to be used. It's heavier than I had expected but this danbo holds a lot of charge. The danbo feels pretty sturdy and durable. Also, it isn't too big that I can't put it in my bag. I was kind of sad that this didn't come with an AC adapter. Even though I can recharge the danbo using my computer, I still prefer plugging it into a wall outlet.
Overall, I love my cheero danbo. When I get the chance to, I'll purchase the smaller danbo (6000mAh) as well just because it's danbo. But for now, this is good enough for me. Would I recommend it? Definitely, especially to those who travel a lot and those who love adorable items.

Honestly, I bought this based on a few youtuber's reviews and recommendations.. It's adorable but it's expensive and I've found other chargers for less than half the price that work better and last longer on charges. If I charge this for 24hrs I can get about 2-3 full charges.. after that it's dead and I have to wait another 24hrs.

Initial Impression

When I receive the box, it’s heavy, guess it means it’s the real 10400 mAh and quality lithium cell battery in it.
Open it up and you get the familiar danbo face, everything feels solid and well built. Even the USB slot feels more solid than my notebook pc. It’s stiff and tight when I plug in my USB charging cable, a plus for me.
A quick press to switch it on and my phone (iPhone4) start charging straight away. My unit arrived with 4 LED indicator lights on (meaning 61-80% juices left), yours may vary.

Charging time
--------------------
This may varies for everyone. I let it charge overnight (though some experts say this is not recommended, but I’m just too lazy to keep an eye for it)

Note that the instruction manual mention the charging time is around 11-13 hours when you use a 1A AC adapter, please try to adhere to it.

It will still work if you charge it using the USB port on your PC, but most likely it will double the charging time to 22-26 hours as the native output for USB port is 0.5A. (Unless you are using a newer Mac or PC which support 1A output)

Those 2A AC (the one that comes with iPad and tablet) adapter will work as well but I’m not seeing any major saving in charging time. (Guess the instruction manual is correct)

Not so scientific testing

Test 1.Full Charged a dead iPhone4 = ~165mins
Seems ok and acceptable for me, the original charger took around 140 mins.

Test 2. Charging multiple devices (2 iPhone4, iPad2, mifi device, GoPro Hero3)
No problem to charge both of them together (in any combination)

Test 3. The claim that the powerbank is able charge iPhone up to 5 times.
I’m able to charge my iPhone4 for 6.5 times. Granted, I’m using an older phone but at least I’m happy with the ability to charge so many times (and reduce the powerbank charging.

Final words

Though heavier and more bulky than my previous Eneloop (rated 5000 mAh), this product does meets the claim and I’m happy with the purchase.
Would I recommend it to others? Yes. Provided they are willing to pay more for a genuine product rather than those cheap but falsely claim powerbank from unheard of China maker.

For the price it's offered for right now, it's a great value for such a huge capacity battery. First thing I tried to do when I got this in the mail was charge my phone from empty to full. It definitely charged my phone pretty quickly compared to other chargers I've owned in the past. For those looking for a battery pack to take with you everywhere, it's a little too bulky for pockets, so I would recommend this more to people who hold bags during most of their days. I still chose to put this battery in my back jeans pocket while charging my phone, and I was surprised to find that it didn't seem to feel like it heats up like other battery packs. I just wish it included the cheero DANBOARD USB cable with it, instead of a standard black micro USB cable, even though it feels like a solid cable. It would also be cool if the eyes lit up, maybe even as a flashlight function. All in all, it's a great battery with a cute face.

Just an excellent product. I'm surprised that something so tidy and light carries this much juice. It easily handles my tablet (Nook Color, rooted), and at least a couple of (iRiver and Sansa Fuze) mp3 players, plus a smartphone. The USB ports are clearly marked with 1.0 and 2.1 amps. And I like the fact that it charges with a 5V charger via a standard micro USB-USB cable--thus only one "wall wart" charger is necessary for travel.
And the 'just darling' carrying bag will be useful for whatever marbles I have remaining.
It would make a great gift for anyone with gear. Kudos!
