chose to buy my 5 bottles of 5ml tea tree oil from 'Nature's thirst", was a great price without the taxes and shipping cost YL tacks on. it smells like the real thing for sure and although bottle label does not look like current pic shown here, it does look exactly like 5ml bottle of pic shown in the young living intro booklet..
this tea tree stuff has been amazing on my rosacea skin! in a little over a week, it was the first time in over a decade, my face did not look dark purplish red with bumpiness on it. Currently my face looks smooth with no bumps and only light redness on previously bad areas, although getting rid of the bad redness has resulted in being able to see a lot more broken capillaries. It's not a cure for rosacea but, i am hopeful that one day my skin will be normal because of this oil and my rosacea will only pop up during occasional flareups only.
for those suffering badly too, I have experimented with different carriers and best one IMO (at least for my sensitive combo/dry skin) is mixing oil with Vegetable glycerin derived from palm (wizardlabs) and thin Aloe vera gel/juice (aubrey's organic pure aloe vera gel). i mix up 10ml of VG/5ml of Aloe/125 drops of oil (dropper drops because tea tree oil instantly ruins/plugs up plastic syringes). Also woked wonderful mixed at 33% oil & 67% thin aloe juice/gel too but, it drieds out your face after a couple days, the VG helps avoid that (but for oily skin, no vg is needed).
Other combos were with pure argon oil (josie maran) and it resulted in bad flareup and breakout by next day.
other was with pure thick aloe vera gel, it did not work half as well and mix kept thickening up close to a solid.
Oil alone will burn badly and irritate your skin worse, it needs to be dilluted and those with extra extra sensitive skin may want to use a mixture with less than 25% oil at first. Can be a pricey oil for sure but, not as pricey as most overpriced rosacea products i tried that didn't really work and a lot cheaper & safer than taking prescription combos docs try to pawn off on you!
Btw, la roche tolleriane dermo cleanser & thermal spring water are awesome on rosacea skin! the cleanser really cools and cleanse your skin well. the water cools/hydrates on dry days and sets powder foundation well. I DIY all my own products now but, the above will always still be bought and i also use the tolleriane fluide moisturizer on the occasional days i wear my powder mineral foundation (homemade cream lotions are just too greasy looking to do so and the tolleriane fluide soaks into rosacea skin quickly without irratating it).
