Very easy to use. Seems ultra-reliable when used with USB interface. The Firewire was intermittent and cost me a couple of ruined BD discs initially, even though I ran it from a relative fast iMAC. I've burned a dozen BD discs using USB since without issue.

Works as advertised and arrived on time and in great shape. It is a little bigger than I had anticipated but it does exactly what I ask it to do. If you are seeking a drive to use for travel this may not be the one for you but it works well.

Works fine with mac. You just need to buy MacBluRay Player and Toast BluRay Plugin (and toast if you don't have it). The other review probably expected it to work out of the box but Apple has not yet committed to the BluRay format since the royalties to Sony are huge. So you have to get the right software.

So far so good. Works on mac, and as advertised. Lets you record 25gig of data. I haven't bought any 50gig discs, but it sure is far more convenient than burning 4.4 gigs at a time. Actually has real FW800 ports, and an on/off button, something everyone seems to consider extra these days. Pretty satisfied so far.

A quiet, effective burner that hasn't had a bad burn since I connected it to my 2010 iMac via 800 firewire. While I haven't tried burning a Blu-Ray, CDs and DVDs burn quickly. The last Mercury Pro 12x Blu-ray burner I had worked for six years, another (without Blu-ray burning) is still going strong after nearly 10 years attached to my 2006 iMac. Well built and well worth purchasing.
