Directions

Apply liberally and evenly 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, immediately after towel drying and at least every 2 hours. This product is meant for targeted protection and small areas of exposed skin. For full protection, use in conjunction of another sunscreen lotion or spray. Children under 6 months of age: ask a doctor

For the price, this stuff is pretty good. It seems to do the job. My biggest gripe is the white cast it leaves is INTENSE. I’m talking like white stage makeup and doesn’t soak in great. My baby has a super pale complexion so it’s really not a huge deal for me, but I can see where someone with a darker complexion might really hate this as it is not dark skin friendly unless you’re okay with that white cast.

I liked this product for its natural ingredients and it is tear free. However it is so thick. it is not easy to spread and leaves a layer of white colored texture on the skin. I can not recommend this product.

All mineral formulas, not just this one, stay on the surface of your skin. A little goes a very long way, especially on little ones. I saw a great best practice from an influencer mom to use one of those big foundation make up brushes to apply this to a LO's (or your own) skin.

I can say that when used as intended, we've never gotten sunburned or any sensitivity. I noticed I still tan, and my husband doesn't freckle more. The smell is pretty standard, not incredibly fragrant or obnoxious and not completely odorless. The packaging is fun and engaging for our toddler, it keeps her busy as I apply it since she likes to pretend that she can read it.

Overall, I really like the brand but have read that consumers shouldn't be fooled by "ganics" there was a situation where a mom was applying this on her child every day and the child started to experience neurological symptoms. That being said, everything in moderation, no?

Babyganics SPF 50 Baby Mineral Sunscreen Lotion is my all-time favorite sunscreen. It has zinc which was recommended to me by my dermatologist after I had a tiny melanoma spot. She told me to always get mineral sunscreen with a stated percentage of zinc. This lotion rubs in very nicely and does not make you look really white like some. A very good product!

This sunscreen is amazing for sensitive skin. Didn’t give me or my kids a rash nor did I break out from it. The inky thing is that you should have clean skin to apply it so its easier to apply or else it gets streaky and even looks like it skips over the dirty area a bit. It just doesn’t go on very easily is what I’m trying to say. It’s very thick and gives great sun protection. Be prepared to look white from sunscreen for a bit though.
