Authentic copal resin and a great value. Soothing scent that creates a nice ambiance.
Just ordered for the fourth time as we are running low and don't want to be without it. The ever-so-slight difference in quality when compared to some of the much more expensive brands I've tried in the past is what makes this such a great value - in my personal opinion, anyway. Everyone I've gifted a stick or two to try out has also been quite pleased. If you are not familiar with copal, the scent is strong and soothing, and smells somewhat similar to frankincense (the trees the resin comes from are both in the Burseraceae family). If you encounter difficulties lighting the sticks and/or keeping them lit; it is necessary to keep a flame to the end until a definite ember forms, but that is the case with any resin-on-a stick types of incense, not just this brand. While lighting, it also helps to hold the stick horizontally over the plate or bowl you'll be using.I prefer to use an incense holder that keeps the stick upright and set it on a small plate, as this keeps the mess from ashes to a minimum. The plate in the uploaded image is about 9.5" in diameter; I did dump all the accumulated ashes from many burnings and wiped it clean first. Alternatively, a bowl can be used - just make sure that the stick is placed securely in a holder (or sand) and positioned so that all ashes will land in the bowl.

They were out for a while and started A new storefront. The copal from that store front came in two bags with 20 sticks in each bag and was terrible. They smelled like charcoal. The copal that comes in four bags of 10 from this store front doesn’t smell like charcoal and gives off a sweet woodsy delicious scent. I’ve tried 8 other resin stick copal brands and only one is better than Templo, but it costs a little over $2 a stick and lasts for a half hour longer per stick with a scent that is stronger and a tad bit sweeter. Templo upped their price by 30%, but IMO it’s still the best deal for resin stick copal on Amazon. If you love the sweet scent of real copal resin, you’ll love Templo Copal.

I have been using copal incense for years. From pure white resin to copal negro, to sticks from Fred Soll, to sticks from random manufacturers. This is up there with the best. The aroma isn't as concentrated as some of the really strong sticks but it is the real deal and does a great job for our needs. This is good stuff. take it from a long time copal user, this is the goods. The price is nice, too.
pro's - burns well, burns long, smells amazing, not too strong,
    con's - none at all.
    I recommend this product.

It’s very thick and a couple of them wouldn’t stay lit. Also it is very, very Smokey. Not like a usual incense stick. I not know that i have to use 1 for my whole downstairs and 1 for my whole upstairs because its more than enough. Otherwise the smoke alarms go off. But i am pleased. Will buy again. I gave it 4 stars because Of the Smokey part.

These are the best and by that I mean THE BEST BRAND Copal incense out there

I've bought other brands of copal incense and they are good but they are not as good as these ones the scent is strong and lasting they are my favorite this is my favorite brand out of all the ones on the market

I do have one word of warning for you because they are hand dipped when you lite them they will drip while you are lighting them so do it over the sink or the incense holder because whatever they drip on be it your skin your jeans your couch whatever it is it will burn a little hole but other than that they are THE ABSOLUTE BEST Copal incense on the market

This is my third time ordering, and each time I place two orders - that's 80 sticks of copal. A bit pricey but a somewhat less than from a local store.

The aroma is heavenly and the burn is clean. Obsessed! Will continue to purchase as long as they provide the same quality at the same or lower price. That is, unless I locate better/same quality for less elsewhere.

This was the hands-down best copal. I’ve been purchasing only this for a couple of years now. It goes out of stock from time to time and I wait rather than substitute a different product. I just got a shipment and I believe the product is different. I notice it burns slightly differently and the scent is not as “copal-ish”. I didn’t mind paying the increased price but I’m disappointed the quality has changed. Hopefully this is a one-time experience and they’ll return to the original supplier.
