I loved Fringe. I loved the way it ended. However, I really miss seeing it. When I read about this show, I got really excited. Only two episodes in and I'm in love with it! Michael Ealy and Karl Urban have great chemistry together. Karl Urban plays the role with a little Dr. McCoy, without all the sayings, and a little of his character from RED. Michael Ealy has brought a whole new personality to a robot;>) Give this show a chance and I think, you'll love it too.

This show definately deserves 5 stars. Set 48 years into the future, out of control technologal advances cause crime to rise by 400%. This show recreates the cliched "buddy-cop" scenario and adds a sci-fi twist which opens a whole new world of ideas and plot twists. The show does a great job of taking you through an action packed murder-mystery scenario; but The real genius of the show is JJ Abrahms' use of acting chemistry to get you drawn into the characters. You almost forget that the show is a crime-mystery action thriller. The show is new, so there is still time for more characters to develop in future episodes. I suspect Abrahms is holding back a little. If it's anything similar to the new Star Trek, we're in for a very good series.

So after airing the episodes out of order on TV (Just like they did Firefly), FOX has once again cancelled an amazing show with so much potential. Enjoy the 13 episodes we got. This is why I no longer watch TV and I watch everything on Amazon.com. FOX doesn't deserve a single penny when they constantly pull crap like this.

I really wish the worst for anyone who works at FOX who makes these decisions.

There is a petition being signed for Almost Human to be picked up by another network potentially. All you have to do is go to google and type "Almost Human petition". I normally do not even bother with petitions but if you are as pissed as I am that FOX has once again screwed the pooch and not taken responsibility by renewing the season then please take 30 seconds to fill the info and submit.

Sincerely,

Please die FOX k thanks

I love this show. I like how they aren't just a "jetsons" style future, they really have been some effort and thought into the "sci" half of sci-fi, and do some real world building. It's not so much that they say "well it's the future," but have connected all the ways that technology is already getting out of control and how it may go further in the future.

Some have complained that the second episode was about sexbots, and "wouldn't people in the future have better things to do with robots?" I wanted to say, "honey PULEEZE, follow the money in the real world." If we ever DID have android robots, the first jobs they would have would be soldier and sexbot. Because sex and "defense" is where the vast majority of money is expended, in this or any other developed nation. The police bots certainly seem very military styled, as do the raids conducted by the police, in a fashion that also seems to be a extension of what is happening now.

However, the show is about the cop robots, or more specifically about this specific human cop and his specific DRN robot partner. That's why the ep with the DRN janitor intrigued me so much. Our Dorian wants to be a cop SO bad, he couldn't even "compute" (hee hee, see what I did there) that another like him would be terrified. An excellent example of how our emotions inform who and what we are.

Almost Human reminds me of Blade Runner, which is wonderful too. Karl Urban is awesome as Det. John Kennex and Michael Ealy as Dorian is excellent. Reminds of the good old days of The X-Files and Fringe. Keep them coming.

This is the best buddy cop show on TV, hands down, and the future tech is a nice side benefit. Karl Urban is brilliant and Michael Ealy is close behind. The cases they solve make good use of the future tech and society without becoming overly reliant on gadgets; in the end, it all comes down to good detective work. The show is smart, witty, and wry. Excellent writing, high production values. I hope it stay true to the promise it's showing this first season.

Great acting on top of amazing sets and music. It feels like an 80's distopian future movie with today's effects.

Terrific cast, excellent writing, good story line. A truly good science fiction series. Has the potential to get better and better. Karl Urban and Michael Ealy are awesome actors and aren't bad to look at either. Highly recommend checking it out.
