This does have a very strong scent of coconut, but it's very much like the original scent of a coconut (not a fake smell). I have difficulty with overpowering scents, but this didn't make me vomit. Of course the fact that it's sulfate and paraben free does so much good for our bodies. I've found that it's very viscous, so it's a bit hard to get it out of the nozzle. I need to use both hands to squeeze to get enough out so I can use it on my hair. I think it conditions ALMOST as well as Pantene, but of course it doesn't go that far (but the benefits outweigh the risks). My hair is nice and soft, but it's harder to brush after I use this. I've purchased this using Subscribe and Save where I save 15% of the price of the original price.
